Cats guide to ignoring a hooman call:

If they call you directly: walk away. If they call you by phone: pick up the phone, and then walk away

This gem of a video recently popped up on the YouTube timeline and we figured it would be a good time to revisit this classic moment.

This video was taken in 1994, so for those who don't know what a landline phone looks like -- this is it right here! When the cat's owner used to come home, the phone would be off the hook with no explanation.

Turns out, her cat, Pumba, couldn't stand the sound of that continuous ring and will often disable the sound by answering the phone.

All we can say is that is one smart cat.

It is added at the bottom of the video's description that Pumba had sadly passed away in 2011, but thanks to YouTube, "he lives to entertain us."

Gotta love sloths. They live their life at the slowest pace imaginable and do so donning a smile. We could all learn a little something or two from them. All that rushing to get from destination to destination, what's the hurry? Enjoy every insane and stressful moment!

Here's a delightful gathering of funny and adorable baby sloths being...well, sloths. And thank goodness for that.

Oh, our hearts! This poor little fox lost his mom, and we instantly had Fox and the Hound flashbacks, and not the good kind.

The sweet little pup became attached to the human who rescued it from being all alone in the woods. After bundling up the baby fox in one of the cutest burritos we've ever witnessed, they took the baby to get some water and some food. You can just tell how grateful this little baby is to have been rescued.

Don't feel too bad, this little fox is one of the happiest we've ever seen and lives a good life.

Not going to live, our hearts were beating out of our chest due to this dramatic unfolding! Talk about suspense!

Out in blizzard, mother otter still has to eat and feed her cub, as well. While placing her cub in a location she will return to, the mama goes fishing. However, the little cub couldn't seem to sit still and decided to go back into the water, leaving the mother in a panic frenzy when she returns to find her cub gone.

Thankfully, it all ends well and the pair are reunited by the end.

Classical Pianist Plays To Soothe Blind, Ailing Elephants At Sanctuary

It is claimed that elephants never forget. And we hope that's true especially for these elephants at the Thailand sanctuary, Elephant World, home to older elephants.

Paul Barton, a classical pianist, has been sharing his talents with a rather large audience these days. And when we say "large," we mean it literally. Barton has been spending most of his time playing his beautiful music for the gentle giants of the elephant sanctuary.

He first heard about the elephants when his wife discovered the sanctuary online. Barton explains in a video, "We liked the sound of the place being a retirement center for old, injured and handicapped former logging and trekking elephants. So we paid them a visit. I wondered if these old rescue elephants might like to listen to some slow classical music."

Barton reached out to the staff at Elephant World to see if he can bring his piano and serenade the elephants. The staff said yes.

The first time Barton began to play for the elephants, one blind elephant, was in the midst of eating breakfast and stopped the second he heard the music. Barton had played Beethoven.

Barton continues to explain in a video,  "[He] was often in pain, and I like to think maybe the soothing the music gave him some comfort in the darkness," Barton tells CBS News that this elephant was the first to take to his music.  The musician said this was the first elephant to really take to his music. The gentle giant later died of an infection, sadly. Barton was heartbroken to hear the news.

Barton continues to play for these old gentle giant, hoping the music soothes their soul. Even if the an elephant is blind, they don't need to see to hear and feel the music Barton is playing just for them.

Sure all animals sneeze but not for one moment have we ever stopped to wonder what a bird sneeze would sound like. Or more specifically, what an owl sneeze would sound like.

Now that we've watched this video and know that they sound like, we can confirm that yes, it is cute, and yes, totally worth watching.

Bless you, lovely Owl!

Claire, cat owner and creator behind the popular YouTube series CreamHeroes, is making an interesting perfume. A perfume made from mackerels...yuck.

However, that's just our opinion, right? These cats can't seem to get enough of the fishy odor!

Youtuber Dea Del Carmen said it best, "Claire has achieved a new level of Crazy Cat Lady. Honestly, she's a Crazy Cat God at this point."

It sure is hot out these days! The intense heat has us reminiscing for those colder days where we can layer on our cute sweaters!

Sure, that's how we feel right now but when that chill starts to drift in, we will probably miss the sun once more. But right now the sun is evil and we need to cool off with some polar bear bears sledding in the snow.

Dogs are silly animals who tend to do a lot of weird things that make you stop and ask yourself, "what the heck is that dog doing?"

Well, the kind team of Jaw-Dropping Facts has put together this video that may help you better understand your favorite furry friend. And if not, we just have to accept that some doggo traits will always remain a mystery to us.

Otherwise, you might learn something you didn't even know! For example, whenever a dog yawns, you would assume they're sleepy, right? We sure would. However, according to this video, dogs tend to yawn when they are feeling anxious, such as being in a new environment, or being around other dogs they do not know. Yawning is often seen in puppies when they're surrounded by other pups.

Pretty interesting!
