What a great friend! Upon seeing the dog trapped in the shower, awaiting the dreaded shower, this cat does what any friend would do -- help the poor pup escape from it's fate!

Unfortunately, not all fates can be escaped. At least the cat stayed beside his friend the entirety of the bath, though!

If that's not friendship -- we don't know what is!

"We've been traveling a lot lately and right before we left I had my suitcase on the floor and had to step out for a bit. And there's poor Koko pining away either missing me or knowing we're about to leave or wanting to come with me. Koko you're breaking my heart you sweet little thing!" writes Sho Ko, in the video description.

Watch sweet Koko get emotional when seeing her owner's suitcase and realizing they are leaving town again.

Koko, you're breaking our hearts as well!

Better look out! These lions and tigers are haanngry! For those of you that don't know, 'hangry' is a combination of hunger + angry.

And it is very, very real.

In their bio, they describe their residents attitudes, "In many of our videos the big cats come of to be sweet, but wait until they are introduced to food. This is one of those times they like to show their wild side!"

Any animal owners who has adopted an animal from a young age will tell you the same thing, "they grow up so fast!"

And they really, really do! One moment you're holding a tiny kitten, and 2 weeks later your baby has essentially grown into a cat overnight!

The growth is beautiful, even if we do wish we can hold onto them as babies just a bit longer.

Here are two gorgeous kittens, Gourdon and Pepita, who has transformed from newborn kittens to 8-week-old adoptable kittens!

Watch their beautiful transformation in this peaceful POV video by Kitten Lady.

One universal truth that everyone can seemingly agree on -- cats hate water.

Maybe not all cats, but about 99.8% do.

In that .02%, there's Odin. Odin is a gorgeous white tiger who not only likes to swim -- he LOVES it. Odin spends a majority of his time in the water! He enjoys it so much that he even hunts in the water.

Thanks to Kritter Klub for the awesome footage!

Meet the ever-handsome orange tabby named Thor!

Thor was born feral, and is completely blind. According to TinyKittens HQ, it's a miracle he managed to live on his own, out in the streets, for the first year of his life.

Thankfully, Thor is now in some loving hands, and as TinyKittens HQ writes in their description, "we promise he will know nothing but love, comfort and a full belly from now on."

Thor has already gained 6 pounds, in their care, and even has a playmate named Nyla!

"His fear instinct is quite ingrained, so it might take some time for us to help him build enough confidence with humans that he doesn't try to run and hide.  Once we have him in our laps, he is just loving being hand fed and having his ears and chin rubbed.

Nyla is keeping Thor company until she gets her spay and eye surgery tomorrow.  She has one purrfect eye, and is very fearful in captivity, so we are hoping she will be able to return to her friends and family in our Happy Forest managed feral colony once she's fully recovered.  As with all of our ferals, we will bring her back in if she needs further medical care or if she changes her mind about life with humans."

A huge shout out and thank you to TinyKittens HQ for all their incredible and loving work they provide!

Meet adventure cat, Nala, and her loving human, Dean! Deanfirst came across Nala on the side of the road while biking his way through Bosnia. Nala began to chase after Dean, and Dean obviously wasn't going to bring her along -- he was biking across the world, for goodness sake! But Nala wouldn't take no for an answer. She won't stop following Dean, and Dean decided he had to take her along on his journey.

So, Dean cleared up some space on his bike and made a little area for her to sit comfortably, as he pedaled. When they rode off, Nala decided she wanted to be closer to her chosen human and climbed onto his shoulders. Soon enough, they became inseparable travel buddies.

And now, Dean has a new bike set-up for his little furbaby -- a new and improved basket!

"Got the basket on the bike, put Nala in and went out to test it out! so far so good, just need to see what its like in the rain!!"

"How do you know if your cat is bored?"

From a feline ethological point of view, AnimalWised dives into this question. Starting with explaining symptoms of a bored cat so help their humans recognize it early and change up their routine. Symptoms like, does your cat ignore you? Do they jump on your feet? Do they sleep more than usual?

I know what you're thinking -- cat's sleep like 14-16 hours a day so if that's a sign of boredom -- aren't ALL cats considered "bored"?

Not necessarily. Watch to find out more.

Philmo, the young rescued bobcat has been taken into the vet for a surprise visit. Philmo was developing mats on his hind end, and it's unncommon for a bobcat as young as himself to do so.

Big Cat Rescue decided to look into the matter quickly, taking Philmo to the vet where they discovered he has kyphosis.

Kyphosis is described online as "excessive outward curvature of the spine, causing hunching of the back."

Thankfully, Big Cat Rescue saw there was a problem and immediately cared for Philmo! Philmo will be receiving pain management and hopefully things will turn around!

Thanks Big Cat Rescue for truly caring for all these gorgeous animals! Big Cat Rescue is an educational non-breeding, accredited, sanctuary and a registered non-profit 501c3 so your donations are tax deductible!
