A kind-hearted Imgur user, that goes by the username tayrclark, has taken on quite a big responsibility.

Eight puppies to be exact. When tayrclark went to give dog supplies to homeless pet owners living within tents, one tent she came across had a suitcase filled with puppies. She later returned that night to check up on the puppies, bringing with her some milk, bottles and some food for the momma.

And even though their owner was doing a great job of caring for them, tayrclark offer to help the owner find these pups stable loving homes. The next day, the owner asked if she could foster them. And without hesitation, tayrclark accepted.

However, care for eight puppies is no easy task...

Matthew B. and his cat, Ashes, often traveled together travel together in the comfort of his 18-wheeler. Then, one unfortunately truck stop in Ohio, Ashes accidentally slipped out of the truck, got spooked and ran for the brush.

Matthew was devastated. He searched and searched for Ashes with no luck. He had to continue forth on his route but Matthew re-arranged his routes over the next few months so he could return to that same truck spot and search for Ashes.

Unbeknownst to Matthew at that time, Ashes was found by a women, Kimberly T., who had been moving from the West Coast to New York. She made a pit stop at the very small truck stop and noticed a thin gray cat emerging from the brush. It was 13 degrees outside and Kimberly told Lollypop, "He was trying to not put his feet down on the ground, it was so cold."

She decided to take Ashes (who she funnily enough named "Smokey") with her to New York and to the Lollypop Farm.

The Lollypop Farm scanned for a microchip and discovered his owner had him registered under a Texas address that was over 1,465 miles away!

Matthew was finally reunited with Ashes.

Another story that is the perfect reminder on how important it is to get your beloved pets micro-chipped.

Woman Cares For Abandoned Kitten, Turns Out To Be A Baby Puma Jaguarundi

Florencia Lobo, and her brother, came across what appeared to be two kittens next to a dead adult cat near Santa Rosa de Leales, in Tucuman province, Argentina.

The siblings decided to take the two kittens home with them, in order to give them the best chance at survival. Sadly, one of the kittens, a female, was simply too weak and didn't survive. The other kitten, a male, was seemingly stronger and was in good health. Lobo named him Tito. At the two-month mark, Lobo decided to bring Tito into the vet for a routine check-up.

Turns out, the cat she's been snuggling up to for that past two months was no ordinary cat.

In an interview with Rueters, Florencia Lobo said, "We thought that it was an abandoned cat who had given birth. The vet didn't know what it was but said it was not a normal cat and gave me the number of the reserve."

Lobo contacted the Horco Molle nature reserve, who then confirmed that her kitten she's been nursing was in fact a Puma Jaguarundi. Puma jaguarundi is a small wildcat native to American territories from Arizona to Argentina.

Tito is now being cared for at the reserve and will be returned to his natural habitat when fully prepared to make the transition.

Blind Bison Makes First Friend After Years Of Solitude

A blind bison named Helen has been roaming the fields of Lighthouse Farm Sanctuary for years, all alone. This was due to the fact that Helen had nervous disposition, she purposely would separate herself from other animals.

Until now. Oliver, a young Jersey calf has fought his way into Helen's heart with his gentle and kind manner. Since being introduced to Oliver, Helen and Oliver have been inseparable. They do everything together, so much so, that Oliver's fur has even changed in shade to match Helens!

Gwen Jakubisin, at the Lighthouse Farm Sanctuary, told USA Today, "The change in [Helen's] demeanor is incredible, her joy is palpable."

With around 250 farm animals currently at the sanctuary, Helen has slowly started to reach other to other animals and is extending her social circle -- all thanks to her new courageous friendship with Oliver.

Helen has also become something of a surrogate mum for Oliver. Jakubisin said, "Betsy (Oliver's mom) usually drops Oliver off at "daycare" and roams around while Helen watches over him for the rest of day, and she's cool with that. I catch them grooming each other, which is amazing because I don't think Helen has ever had that opportunity to express that motherly instinct before."

We all need love. No matter what shape or form it comes in. And Helen and Oliver is simply further proof of that.

Here's to you, Helen and Oliver! We adore your unlikely friendship and have learned from it.

What a beautiful reunion!

Sasha, a Portland long-haired black cat, has been reunited with her hooman, Viktor Usov, after being missing for five years! The lost feline was found 1,300 miles away in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Usov originally adopted Sasha from the Oregon Humane Society about six years ago. Back then, Sasha was sick, had a distended belly protuding from his underside and had a constant runny nose. Usov didn't mind any of that, there was a click between the two, upon first meeting.

And luckily, after adopting Sasha, Usov's mom applied some acupuncture treatments that cleared up Sasha's health issues quickly.

Usov told OregonLive, "He turned into one of the friendliest cats I've ever met."

Sasha would follow Usov on walks, with their puppy, Tara. One day, Sasha went out for a walk and just didn't return.

"We waited a week or so," Usov said. "But when we didn't get a call from the Humane Society and no one returned him, we figured a coyote got him. We were upset but we moved on."

Fast forward to just this last week, Usov gets a phone call from an animal shelter in New Mexico -- Sasha was mircochipped! At first, Usov didn't believe it was the same cat, but when the shelter described Sasha's friendly demeanor he just knew.

According to the shelter in New Mexico, Sasha was particularly happy to be picked-up but appeared healthy and well-fed!

But how did Sasha get all the way to New Mexico? Usov has a theory:

"He went on a grand American adventure," Usov told KGW. "He stopped by the Grand Canyon, Crater Lake, he saw the monuments, all the national parks, definitely Redwood Forest."

Congratulations on the happy reunion, Usov and Sasha! And just a friendly reminder to all the pet owners out there to please microchip your pets!

Story Of A Bat Named Lil' Drac Told Through Gifs

Say "hello" to the cutest little short-tailed fruit bat named Lil' Drac! Lil' Drac is an orphan that is being hand-raised by Bat World Sanctuary.

Bat World Sanctuary rescues hundreds of mistreated bats every year. It is a non-profit, accredited organization that gives lifetime sanctuary to non-releasable bats, including those that are labeled orphan, injured, and retired from exotic pet trades, zoos and even research facilities.

Lil' Drac's mother was sadly another casualty from zoo closure happening across the US. His mother was young, stressed from the conditions in which she was being kept, trauma of being captured and transferred to an unfamiliar environment. Due to all this, she abandoned Lil' Drac right after he was born. Lil' Drac was found "on the padded floor of the indoor flight enclosure at Bat World Sanctuary, curled up in a little ball."

For all of their bat updates, photos and more, check out their Facebook BatWorld.

Also, Lil' Drac now has a book, for all you bat lovers out there!

Persistent Cat Wouldn't Give Up On Joining One Family

This cat knows what he wants and he knows just WHO he wants! That 'who' he wanted was Erin Breean

Erin Breean was walking her dog, Murphy, with her boyfriend, when she noticed a furry stranger. She didn't realize at the time that this lil stranger would soon stalk her entire family for the next several days!

Thankfully, this furry stranger we're talking about is a cat. Otherwise, this story would just be really creepy.

Man Who Almost Died Opens Successful Family Practice Clinic With Therapy Cats

Sometimes bad things happen and we're left with difficult challenges, and if we face those challenges they can only make us stronger.

Meet Dr. Will Powers. In a detailed post on Imgur, Dr. Powers shared his story, from hitting rock bottom and working his way up.

His story dates back to one specific event, in 2017. Dr. Powers had three cats named Sirius, Arcturus, and Cygnus (all named after stars), two of the cats were Guinness World Record Title holders. Arcturus for tallest cat to ever live and Cygnus for longest tail on a cat.

According to Dr. Powers, life had been great so far, "[Dr Will Powers and his Dr. wife] were booking TV shows and charity events, as I was president of the Ferndale Cat Shelter at the time, and the cats fame helped us raise money to help Detroit rescue and street cats."

Then on November 12th, 2017, Dr. Powers woke up to find this house completely ablaze. Desperately searching for his beloved cats and opening up as many rescue routes for them to possibly take, Dr. Powers soon passed out from the smoke.

First responders found him in the basement, the house had burned down to the foundation and he lost everything. Including Arcturus, Sirius and Cygnus.

After a year of trying to recover from the lost mentally, and physically, Dr Will Powers decided to make a change in his life -- and open up his own family practice clinic, Powers Family Medicine.

Dr Powers decided to spice things up a bit and create a theme for his practice on the two things he loves most -- video games and cats.
