Eric, a sweet young man who rescued a baby raccoon after the mother was hit by a car. The baby raccoon was found moving on the side of the road, and with no other babies in sight, Eric decided to take it home where he cared for it for a week. The raccoon was around 5-6 weeks old and still too young to survive on its own.

When Douglas "Doug" Pojeky, president of Wild at Heart Rescue., Mississippi, treated the great horned owl named GiGi from a near-death experience, a strong bond was formed. And when Pojeky went away to visit his family in Michigan, he was clearly missed. Upon returning back to work, he immediately went to check up on GiGi. GiGi slowly walked up to him, gave him a hug, and wouldn't stop.

Cmk2442 wrote, "My Great Dane is getting older (almost 8) and he doesn't show much interest in other dogs. Today at the park he met a friend. His name was Achilles and he is 13. Immediately they both showed interest in each other. After a 20-minute love/play fest, we had to leave. I had to drag him to the car, his eyes locked on his new friend the entire way. So adorable." Jiji is a 94-Year-old man whose life changed forever the day his photographer grandaughter brought him a cat named Kinako. After the end of the war, Jiji worked at the same office for 64 good years, but during 2009 he got sick and had to be admitted to the hospital. This very active and full of life man lost his interest in life and got grumpier with each passing day. That was the time when his granddaughter decided to bring Kinako into his life. As you can see from the beautiful photos below, it seems as if the cute little cat has melted Jiji heart (and ours as well).
