Purrfect Pictures Of Happy Cat Families

Ahhhh kitten season... There are very few things in this world more precious than a litter of kittens or many of them. They have their tiny noses and tiny feet. And there is that factor where their bite is not painful yet. To see kittens with their momma is even better! The kittens start learning how to "make biscuits" and it's all just really really beautiful.

There are photos of different kinds of cat families. Whether it be in numbers, breeds, or coloring, families come in all kinds of forms. A lot of the photos brought to this post are recent so if you want to check on the progress of these babies, go ahead and follow the credit link!

Wholesome Pics Of Cats Befriending Other Animals

Cats are kind of known to be uh cough cough antisocial creatures. Sometimes it is true, I'm not gonna lie. However, a lot of the time it very much isn't the case! For example, cats and dogs oftentimes get along swimmingly despite all the rumors. With a little getting used to and enough encouragement, a lot of animals can absolutely get along with cats! Cats just show their love in funny ways sometimes.

Some of the photos you will see here are cats with animals they are "supposed" to fight with, like dogs. Some of the photos even include photos of cats with animals they are "supposed to eat, like birds. If a cat can freakin adopt a duck as one of its own, maybe world peace is closer than we think!

Big Bad Wolves Being Their Affectionate Goofball Selves

Wolves are dangerous, yes, we know. But we're animal lovers, so we know better than to fall for the stereotype of the big bad wolf. Wolves may be dangerous, but so are adorable big wild cats, and we think they're cute too. Amazingly, the big bad wolf is incredibly affectionate, and in general, wolves are the biggest goofballs ever

Wolves are basically overgrown doggos, so it totally makes sense that we love them so much. We can only hope to one day meet a wolf friendly enough who will actually give us permission to pet its belly. That would be a total dream come true.

Animals Hugging Each Other Reminding Of The Good In The World

January 21st is the actual annual date of National Hug Day. Although frankly, if we are being honest, this should be a much more common sort of day. Kind of like a Friday. Hugging should happen more often and amongst more people (only if the people actually agree to it, of course- consent is important!). When animals hug, it bursts into our brains as if we are being hugged ourselves. It is so sweet and heartwarming, that I'm pretty much convinced we should make it a regular holiday.

We have here raccoons, dogs, cats, reptiles, seals, dolphins, and bunnies! My goodness, are there any animals even missing? There are mixed-species hugs and homogenized-species hugs. We can learn a thing or two from these darlings. Love is a powerful thing and these little guys show us exactly why.

When people say that opposites attract, they are talking specifically about this deaf puppy and this 2-year-old girl, we are certain of it. Never have you seen love  stronger than the love between this little human and her doggo. The connection was instantaneous and so heartwarming. For some reason, as the video says, this "girl who can't stop talking , and the guy who can't hear anything" became unlikely best friends right away.

Happily, this love was strong enough for the mom to see it and know that it was meant to be. So, what started as dog sitting for two weeks turned into this awwdorable puppy finding its forever home with an amazing, loving family. And that's all we could ever want for it.

Huskies are known to be the biggest, goofiest fluffballs. They seems to be aware of how huge they are, and because they love their humans so much, they make sure to be gentle and careful with them. Of course, they can't help but be overprotective sometimes, exactly because they love their humans that much, and trying to nap with them can prove to be the most wholesome and entertaining challenge.

It's worth every second though, of course, because as much as our dogs love us, we love them about a million times more. You know, sometimes being suffocated by fur is totally worth it for the cuddle time.

Get ready for one of the most heartwarming rescue stories you've ever seen. After being abandoned by its birth family, this itty bitty kitten was left all alone. Luckily, he found himself in good hands and was not only rescued but also taken into the most loving forever home.

Of course, the transition was not the easiest, it takes time for cats, even as young as this one, to get used to their new surroundings. But eventually, this little fluffball realized that what he had, both with this human and with the rest of his cats, is something incredibly special - it is a big, loving, wholesome family

Heartwarming Tweets: Adopting Super-Senior Cats In Desperate Need For Love

Every single cat deserves to have the most loving and amazing forever home. Even the senior cats, even the cats with behavioral problems, the most "difficult" and "unadoptable" animals still deserve to have a forever home worthy of their love.

We understand why it's hard to adopt a senior - it takes a big emotional toll knowing that they're not going to be with us for a very long time. So, we get why people don't adopt them as often as kittens, but that understanding makes us all the more appreciative when people do adopt senior cats, and especially super-senior cats.

These tweets are going to make you 'aww' and also make your heart hurt ever so slightly - but in the best way. Your heart will be full of love reading these tweets.

Heartwarming Stories Of Cats Showing Affection (Facebook Comments)

This post is for the people in the crowd who truly believe that cats are not affectionate. We, cat owners, know that they are wrong of course, but the stereotype prevails. It's true that cats show love differently than humans and differently than dogs, but they still show it. You just need to know what you're looking for.

Sometimes, a cat will show you love by blinking slowly while looking into your eyes, other times, they'll do it by showing you their bootie. And sometimes, it's a lot more straightforward than that - when they come to you, asking for physical affection in the form of cuddles. And our amazing Facebook users shared stories of just that which were so adorable we had to share them with you too.

Facebook comments about cats being affectionate thumbnail includes a picture of a cat hugging a dog and one Facebook comment 'Organism - Tamra Paulsen-Mosher My cat Milo hugging the doggo super tight during an thunder storm because he knows she's afraid. Facebook Comments Showering Cats And Dogs With Love (Mostly Cats)

Is there anything in this world better than your pet? Anything at all? We would argue that there isn't. Our pets - cats, dogs, parrots, even fish - are our little rays of sunshine, bringing joy, energy and calm into our households. Nothing makes us smile harder than they do, nothing worries us more than when they're hurt, and nothing warms our hearts faster than when they show us that they love us back.

So, today, we and our amazing Facebook community are going to shower our little sunshine pets with the love that they have earned. It's wholesomeness and love galore, mixed with some hilarity. Prepare yourself.

Facebook comments showering cats and dogs with love thumbnail includes one Facebook comment 'Font - Kelly Driscoll I was once sitting in the front porch petting a feral cat that had adopted us, when a stray dog came down the street and started to come into the yard. That cat launched himself off the porch with a demonic growl and tore towards the dog. The dog thought better of his direction and took off. The cat trotted trotted back and resumed getting his pets. I was stunned. 17 Like · Reply M'

Tumblr Thread: Cat That Adores Cuddles

We don't know if you've heard, but there is this rumor about cats not liking cuddles and not being affectionate. We know, how ridiculous is that. Clearly, anyone who knows anything at all about cats knows that if you have earned their love and affection, they will give it back to you tenfold and more.

Cats are so affectionate. You just have to allow them to be affectionate with you on their own terms. It may take some time for it to happen, but eventually, if you are nice and respectful enough, it will. And maybe your cat will end up as cuddly and loving as this one.

Cats and cows, what do the two have in common? They're both animals. They both can sit suspiciously like humans.... and that's pretty much it. This is so unbelievably precious! A cow and cat with the same coat pattern (a pretty common coat pattern for a cow), seem to have a really strong and beautiful bond! They must've just taken one look at each other and figured they were family!

To be quite honest, we don't really know what's happening in this video, but the beautiful footage of a cat and cow being so affectionate and together 24/7 is so calming and heartwarming at the same time. It's one of those videos that doesn't even need context, it's just a joy to watch.

We hope this video brings you the same joy it brought us. Have a wonderful rest of the day!

Swan Waits For Her Rescued Mate To Return After Rehabilitation

After a most dramatic rescue of a beautiful swan from a dangerous waterfall, the swan was reunited with her mate, and this amazing, romantic, incredibly heartwarming moment was caught on camera. It's a happy ending like no other, and we are so happy to not only see this rescued swan back in the wild but back in the wild with her mate - who was waiting for it to return at the site of the waterfall.

As InYourArea reports, "RSPCA officers had teamed up with rangers from the Greenfield Valley Park to help the stranded swan." The swan had fallen down the raging waterfall and was rescued from the bottom of it. Unfortunately, because of a serious eye injury, the swan couldn't be returned to the wild right away and had to go through a period of rehabilitation.

During the rehabilitation period, the swan's mate was spotted waiting for his at the site of the waterfall where the swan was rescued, so the rescuers were eager to return the swan to his mate. And the reunion was gut-wrenchingly beautiful.

Check out the pictures from the reunion below!
