This Artist Charmingly Illustrates the Beloved Bodega Cats of Brooklyn

Wander into any Brooklyn deli or convenient store, and you may just make a new furry friend. Known affectionately as "bodega cats," many felines live in the small shops, and can often be found lounging on groceries or scuttling across the shelves. Most Brooklyn residents are fond of the shop cats, and some—like illustrator Sunny Eckerle—even celebrate them.

Japanese Artist Turns Stones Into Cute Animals You Can Hold In The Palm Of Your Hand

A Japanese artist who goes by the name of Stone Artist Akie is a name you should remember.

She makes beautiful art out of small stones: "To me, stones are not simple materials or canvases for painting pictures on. Among all those numerous stones on a river bank, one stone, looking like an animal, catches my eye. When I find a stone, I feel that stone has found me too. Stones have their own intentions, and I consider my encounters with them as cues they give me it's OK to go ahead and paint what I see on them', she told ArtFido.

Let's take a look at some of her incredible work. We had some hard time picking our favorite.

Photographer Tossed Some Colorful Powder On Dogs And Created Truly Magical Photos

The person who took these fantastic pictures is Jess Bell and they're magical since they capture each and every dog's personality through the beautiful colors.

From his website: "I recently organized some of my very talented dog-owning friends (and their exceptional pups of course) to participate in colored powder photo shoots in order to experiment with a new technique I wanted to try out. The results are bright, crisp and dynamic! These photos are turning heads all over the internet. These crazy colors and dynamic swirls are captured in-camera in real time and on location. As a result, every single image is unique and highlights the amazing differences between how dogs of various breeds and body shapes move. The powder acts as a perfect action amplification device".
