When there was nowhere for him to go, imgur user MizWeirdo who has known him for a few years has decided that he has a place in her home. He's super chill and super sweet, and it looks like MizWeirdo is more than happy with her decision to take him in (as are we). Dexter loves cuddles and kisses, he is the absolute best at doing faceplants, and he just went viral on imgur

What makes this story even sweeter is that Dexter is an older cat, so basically every adorable thing that he does is extra adorable. Thank you MizWeirdo, for picking up this insanely adorable cat and giving him his new loving forever home. And to you, Dexter, we wish an incredible, incredible long life.

Tumblr Thread: Cat Adopts Lynx Cub And Raises It Alongside Her Kitten

This family may be a little unique, but they sure are loving. A baby lynx abandoned by its mother for being the runt of the litter was brought into the care of a domesticated cat who had just given birth to a kitten of her own, and the cat quickly adopted the lynx as her own. A cat is a cat right? All big cats act like little cats at the end of the day.

This tumblr thread stoke the hearts of everyone, and it is one of our favorites as well, because though the family may be a little strange, their story is one of acceptance, and it is so heartwarming. Also, the domesticated cat can rest assured that her large, fierce daughter will protect her from everything, and that's a wonderful bonus.

tumblr thread about a cat adopting a lynx cub and raising it alongside her kitten thumbnail includes a picture of a cat and a lynx cuddling 'A lynx at the Novosibirsk Zoo refused to feed its cub because it was the runt of the litter. To save the cub's life, a worker brought a domesticated cat that had recently given birth to kittens. As anticipated, the cat accepted the lynx as her own kitten and began nursing her.' as well as a kitten and a lynx nuzzling 'ALSO the mom cat raised the lynx baby'

Senior Dog Given Six Months To Live Gets Adopted And Is Living His Best Life Now

Rufus's story is one of incredibly kind people, a strong dog never willing to give up, and just a little hint of luck.

What started with Lauren Conley losing her dear dog last Memorial Day ended with her saving the life of another dog - one who was very much in need of love. Rufus, a poorly senior dog was brought to a shelter by his previous owners to be euthanized, but thankfully, he was sent to a foster home instead. He was given six months to live. Luckily, he found his way into Lauren's arms, and opening her heart and home to this boy, she gave him all her love and helped him in every way that she could. And now, Rufus is finally getting better!

As she tells Cheezburger: "[W]e are dedicated to making every day he has left his birthday, Christmas, and Thanksgiving rolled into one!"

Read more about his story below!

Curious User Finds Out The Pawdorable History Of Their Adopted Puppy

When we adopt a pet - young or old - and don't know their story, we can't help but wonder about it. I can say personally that I've always wondered if my little kitten's ears look funny and different because something bit her or if it's just genetic. There's no way for me to know, and the curiosity has stayed all the years that I've had her.

Sometimes though, you get lucky and find out exactly where they're from. Like this story that went viral on imgur. This curious imgur user managed to discover his little puppy's background, and it warmed the hearts of tens of thousands because it is one of the most wholesome, heartwarming stories possible.

From adorable pupper to "weird looking leggy goober", this is the history of Jupiter.

Tumblr Thread: Kitten 'Temporarily' Called 'Trash Bag' Gets Adopted

Quite often, there are times when thing happen little kittens get to vet clinics, and they're not ready to be adopted yet. It could be for all kinds of reasons, and it might be that they'll be there for a long time until they're better. What we never think about really is the nurses' attachment to these kitties. We know that if it us who get attached to half of the adorable kittens on the internet, we would definitely get attached to the kitties.

To lessen their attachment as much as possible, they give the kittens temporary "bad" names so they don't constantly call them "the black cat" and so they have a place for detachment. This tumblr story is one of a nurse who couldn't help herself and ended up adopting one of these kittens - one named "Trash Bag".

Only Trash Bag turned from a temporary name to its permanent one. And we just have to say - we love you, Trash Bag.

tumblr thread about kittens in vet clinics getting temporary names and a kitten named 'Trash Bag' getting adopted thumbnail includes a picture of a black kitten and the text 'Text - drferox Follow 'Temporary' Names Vet clinics often have litters of kittens to raise. Either they're too young for a shelter, too sickly, or the clinic intends to adopt them out when they're big enough. Whatever the reason, nurses often end up raising kittens and giving them 'temporary' names. Organism - drferox Foll'

Two Kittens Rescued From Car Engine Are Doing Purrfect

Not one but Two! Two happy rescue kitten stories by the same volunteer rescue group, and we are twice as happy. An adorable black kitten, now named Kevin, has been rescued from inside of a car engine in Ballymena. And the other kitten, a calico kitten beauty named Cotton, was rescued after getting trapped in an industrial site under a raised oil tank. Twice the rescued kittens, twice the good news, and twice the gratitude.

This is one of the cutest stories we've ever heard! And it's also the most literal, "my mom can beat up your mom" scenario we've ever come across!

Meet Alena, a beautiful Lynx at the Siberian Zoo who has adopted three abandoned kittens. The kittens were left at the zoo's gates in a box with a note attached, "They left us!" Alena has previous experience at being an adoptive mother, and she's so very good at it. Alena is so loving with the three kittens, constantly watching over them and grooming them. Take about a motherly instinct.

Sadly, the kittens cannot stay at the zoo forever, the zoo has already found new owners for the kittens and they will be at their forever home.

This beautiful bond between Lynx and kittens won't be forgotten, we just hope this born to be mother gets her own forever cub someday.
