Whenever we hear stories about abandoned animals, we find ourselves asking: why? How could it be that someone left such innocent, pure little creatures alone? And with this beautiful little galaxy-eyed kitten and her siblings, we are somehow even more surprised.

A lot of times, we don't know their stories, it might be that they weren't abandoned by a person but by their mother in the wild. All we know is that they need our help, and we are incredibly thankful to all those who do help them. These kittens, thankfully, were found and rescued, raised in a safe environment, and then, they were finally put into loving forever homes, leaving us content and happy.

Get ready for a video with nothing but wholesomeness. A cat found a stray kitten and brought him home with it, taking the kitten under its wing and showing him around the house, sharing food with him, and being the coolest and most adorable cat mentor of all time.

It was love at first sight, the two of them seem to have simply known that they belong together. Now, the kitten is the cutest lap cat and is living happily ever after in a forever home full of other cats, and we couldn't have been happier. A cat adopting a kitten, what more can one ask for?

Taking Care Of And Getting 7 Wolfhound Cross Puppies Adopted

Raising puppies is not an easy task. Raising puppies with a bad history is even harder. But raising seven of them? Now, that's something to be thankful for. Imgur user RareWolf3 shared their story of doing just that - raising seven wolfhound cross puppies who were dumped in a bush, emaciated and scared.

All seven of the puppies have since been adopted and taken into loving forever homes, one of them even being adopted by RareWolf3 themselves. looking back on their pictures when they were babies brings us so much joy, and knowing that they're living good lives now is even better, and we are indeed really thankful.

Dog That Spent Year And A Half Chained Up Gets Rescued (Viral Thread)

Bring the tissues, everyone, because this one is a tearjerker. Meet Baldr. This poor pup has spent the first year and a half of his life chained up before he got rescued. He never even had a name, and it has left him afraid of trusting people. Thankfully though, his life changed when imgur user, poorschmuck, opened up their hearts and took him in.

Baldr is now the happiest he's ever been. He's found his forever home, and he knows it. In this home, he will get nothing but love, and as poorschmuck said: he's "[n]ever going to see a chain again." And nothing could make us happier.

If you have your own heartwarming pet stories, come share them in our Facebook community: ICanHas Storytime.

Nervous Kitty Re-Homed 5 Times Finally Finds Forever Home (Viral Thread)

Pets with behavioral issues are never easy to take care of, but that doesn't mean they don't deserve the most amazing forever home. What happens though, when you find out that the pet's behavioral issues most likely stemmed from fear rather than anything else? You get the story of Cheddar Kevin the cat.

bythezu, on imgur, shared their kitty's story, and it first broke our hear then put it right back together. Because this poor kitty has been re-homed 5 times since he would pee everywhere. Yet, when he got to bythezu home, he didn't have an issue. It seems that the reason is that the poor guy kept being put into busy home which were simply too scary for him

He's happy now though, and will be happy for the rest of his life, and that's all that matters. If you have your own heartwarming pet stories, come share them in our Facebook community: ICanHas Storytime.

He was scared at first of course but he warmed up quick and is seriously the sweetest boy.-bythez'

Informative Guide To Adopting A Cat (Tumblr Thread)

If you're anything like I was before I adopted a cat, you know three things: you loves cats, you want a cat, and you don't know the first thing about taking care of them. That shouldn't stop you from adopting a cat, not if you want to give it love and cuddles and the best life it can have.

Of course, you can always go on the internet and look for information about raising cats, that's what I did, but the information is scattered, and it can be hard to filter through what you really need to know and what you don't. Thankfully, carnegiemuseumnaturalhistory on tumblr decided to collect all the information that you need and put it in one place, creating the ultimate guide to cat adoption that will answer most, if not all, of your questions and make the process of getting a cat a much less scary one.

a tumblr thread guide about adopting cats thumbnail includes a picture of a sleeping kitten 'Font - Cat Adoption Guide Adding a new feline friend to your household is a process that can be both exciting and scary, especially for first-time cat owners and even the cats themselves. With so many things to consider, it can feel as though a million things could go wrong. Thankfully, there are many things you can do to make the transition as smooth as possible!'

Abandoned by his momma, this tiny kitten was sick and alone. Thankfully, a couple of amazing, well-intentioned people found him and gave him a second chance. The cutie beat all the odds, defeating its sickness and every fear that accompanied it, growing up, getting stronger, meeting new friends and making himself a home with this new family.

Now, he's the happiest, most awwdorable chonker beauty in the world, and he's living with a loving family in the warmest forever home. Prepare the tissues and get ready for happy tears, everyone, because this is one to remember.

When you think about rescuing an animal, you probably think of a cat or a dog, maybe a bird or something, but almost definitely not a beaver. And yet, this rescued beaver is one of the most adorable strange adopted animals that we have ever seen.

He loves cuddling, he loves kayaking, he enjoys stealing his mom's rug 4 times a night, and he may or may not have tried to build a dam on top of his mom's head. Also, we want him. He's too cute for this world. And honestly, we think this adorable beaver is ready to go out on his own and conquer the world in the wild, he's just... trying to figure out how to take the couch with him.

It started with a woman taking this adorable obese doggo into her home, wanting to give her a chance and take care of her, help her lose weight and get healthier. And after a year and a half as well as one of the most successful pet weight loss journeys we've ever seen, the story ended with the same amazing woman being won over and adopting the pup.

Never have you seen a dog happier to do the most basic dog things - since because of her weight, she couldn't even scratch her own ear before. She's now the happiest doggo, and we can't help but be happy watching her jump around in the new forever home
