Fawn Stranded In Lake Get's Rescued But It Gets Even Better

While enjoying a fun day out on the Folsom Lake, Kenny Croyle was with his wife and in-laws when they came across something that didn't look right.

Croyle told FOX40, "Another boat had their flag up and we didn't really see anybody in the water. So we just slowed down just to be careful. Didn't know exactly what was going on."

The other boat had just rescued a fawn that was struggling to stay afloat in the deep part of the lake, far from shore.

Croyle continued, "And they yelled at us and let us know there was another one. The mom, the doe, was heading for shore but she was quite a ways away."

That's when Croyle and his family came across the second fawn in the lake. The poor struggling fawn was confused and looking for its mom. Croyle said, "So, I put my life jacket on, jumped in after it and picked it up. As soon as I picked it up, it kind of went limp. It was very relieved I think, very tired."

Unsure if the fawn would survive, they wrapped the scared fawn in a towel and helped it calm down.

When they got closer to shore, Croyle and his family spotted the mother on the hillside, looking down trying to find her babies. Both boats were able to safely reunite the fawns with their mother.

Watch the incredible footage of the rescue below! Thank you to Croyle, his family, and the occupants of the other boat!

Thank you, Wildlife Aid! After they received a call about a young fox cub stuck in what they call a 'light well', which was a hole that was created to bring some light into a basement, the rescuer, Simon, managed to rescue the angry little fox. After the quick rescue, the fox quickly scampered back to its mother.

In the post, the person is asking for whoever is the owner to help call them back ASAP as the 'cat' is, "very vocal (and mean!!!!) ... Almost lost my fingers this morning trying to pet him." Truck Driver Rescues A Rare Albino Fawn From The Middle Of The Road

A truck driver was driving through the rice fields of Yolo County, Sacramento, when he came across a white mound in the middle of the road. Quickly swerving to avoid hitting it, he continued on for a split second until he saw another truck behind him swerve as well. The truck driver decided to turn around and investigate but was confused as to what the white mound was, upon closer inspection.

As first, he thought it was a lamb or maybe some type of goat, but he heard it mew, like a cat. He called up Kindred Spirits Fawn Rescue center and sent the center's President, Diane Nicholas, a photo of the animal.

Nicholas told LA Times, "He said, 'I don't know what I've got, I said, 'Oh, my gosh, that's an albino fawn!'"

Over 300 Cats Found In One Apartment Rescued By Toronto Cat Rescue

Do you know how you joke that you can't have too many cats? This is too many cats. Toronto Cat Rescue removed over 300 cats from a small apartment in Toronto. When TCR got a call complaint from neighbors, they went to check the situation out but were completely surprised for the "overwhelming" sight that would greet them at the front door. It is unknown at this time if the resident will face charges, as the cats found were in fairly good condition. "Some of them are a bit malnourished and dehydrated but no fleas, parasites, dental or medical problems," Belinda Vandersluis, TRC executive director, said. Some of the cats were pregnant and imminently due.
