Posts Capturing Animals' Love For Each Other

There is nothing more wholesome than animal showing love. There's never any agenda behind it, never any goal, nothing. Animals loving humans or animals loving each other is the purest thing in the world.

Their love is earned in ways different than those of humans, and when you manage to get it, it is the best feeling in the world. And it is just as beautiful when animals accept each other: when your cat totally falls in love with the new kitten you bring home, when two lions give each other some cuddles, or when two different animals of entirely different species decide that being friends is much more fun than fighting.

Love is in the air, and it is all around us, so we're sharing some of it with you,

Pig And Kitten Become Inseparable Best Friends

Jody Fraser, whose love for animals is so big that she ended up having a mini farm right inside of her home, and two of the animals have - unexpectedly - become best friends. Her pig and her kitten are absolutely inseparable.

Fraser lives just east of Calgary, after having moved to the countryside last year with her two cats, dog and turtle, as CBC reports, and since she had some more space, she decided to get some chickens as well. "So that was the beginning of my fascination with all of the animals," she told the Calgary Eyeopener. Around three months ago, Fraser added a pig to the collective. "He's just the nicest little crazy pig ever and very, very low maintenance," she said. "I've always just loved the pigs. So it's kind of funny how now I have my own."

The animals living together under the same roof has inevitably brought them all closer, but two of them have become especially good buds." Wilbur the pot-bellied pig, who is now five-months-old, has become best buds with a new 12-week kitten named Billy," and they are too cute together.

"The two, just right from the beginning, became the best buddies ever. They just love each other. I'm not sure where it came from," Foster said. They sleep together and help clean each other. "The pig will clean the kitten, actually, and every once in a while you see the kitten actually cleaning the pig's ears. So it's kind of funny."

Their friendship has made Fraser rethink moving the pig out of the house. "I was only going to keep him in the house because he's still really little… but I was to put him outside in the spring," she said. "I'm hoping that I do decide to still do that, but he's become part of the family now, so I don't see him going outside."

This little animal family keeps growing, and Foster is always interested in carefully expanding it even more. Follow Wilbur and Billy and their friendship on Facebook, Instagram or TikTok to see more of it. And for more wholesome animal friendships, read about this fox whose brother was run over befriending his human foster mom and two of her dogs.

The purest journey - this video is going to make your heart warm with joy. All the way from egg to hatching to the duckling's first movement and sounds, and the sweet dog is there all the way through it, watching and sniffing, not leaving the duckling's side even at night, making sure to protect this fragile little newborn.

This is one of the gentlest and most careful and loving pups that we've ever seen. Clearly, it understands somehow that this baby is something precious that needs to be protected. And it's obvious that the duckling knows the dog wants nothing but good for it too. Even their snuggles are gentle and loving.

Pets. How different our lives are when we have a loving animal with us. You may not even realize it, but little things in your life are altered thanks to your adorable companion. To take in the pup or say, "no, thank you," that is the question and will lead this character down two different timelines. The result? It's as clear as night and day.

The talented artist behind these powerful illustrations is Ademar Vieira. Ademar Vieira is a journalist, screenwriter, and illustrator. Making friends is never easy, especially when you're an introvert, but even more especially when you're an introverted cat who is scared of many, many things. Still, Zoom the cat is the official proof that even if it's not easy, everyone can make friends.

At first, this youtuber tried to get the cat to settle and calm down, to get used to its new environment, but after a while of that not working, he decided to let Zoom go. Only lo and behold, Zoom returned to Walter's backyard, probably for food but maybe also because he knew he'd be taken care of and loved there. Not only that, but after a little while, Zoom has made a friend, and now they can be two little mischief makers together.

After three whole years apart, two wild horses get reunited, and it's the most heartwarming reunion you've ever seen. You might think that they wouldn't recognize each other after such a long time apart, but they did - instantly.

The male horse got adopted first, and though he was well taken care of, he had a hard time getting used to the new place and making friends. As his owner explains, it was clear as day that something was missing for him, that he had missed his family. So, the amazing owner spent years looking for a female horse who was in a picture she had with the male horse, and after three years, she accidentally found her.

All it took was for the male to hear the sound of the female to come running to her, and from there on, it was like these amazing horses were never separated at all.

Horse, Pony And Dog With Identical Spots Are BFFs

Not all BFFs look the same, nor do they need to, but for these three BFFs, looking the same is the main thing they have in common. That, and their love for each other.

An Appaloosa stallion, a Shetland pony and a Dalmatian dog are all different sizes, different species, and have different habits, but they are best buds and love hanging out together, as reported by Metro. Their mom and horse trainer, Greetje Arends-Hakvoort, "regularly catches them running, training, and having fun." Her daughter, Jolie Lune Arends, also loves the gorgeous-looking animals, and together, all five of them make the most amazing family. The mom rides the horse, the daughter is on the pony, and the dog is accompanying them everywhere.

"Appaloosa horse Nevada, 10, Napoleon, six, and Dalmatian Jack Sparrow, two, regularly stun strangers with their unique matching spots," and we are totally not surprised. If we had seen these three hanging out together, we would probably do a double take too.

"Napoleon was actually born at the same time as Jolie so they grew up together and now they are the best of friends," says Greetje. "People always smile when they see the three together; often people refer to the 101 Dalmatians film and it brings up nice childhood memories for them... When Jack was younger, he saw himself as one of the horses and he fits in perfectly."

She adds: "Trust is the key word here; horses thrive when trust exists and they need to feel comfortable and self assured and Jack does exactly that. 'There's a lot of horse and dog love there between them."

The story of this fawn and doggo is one of the most wholesome stories ever.

It started off sadly- with the fawn's mother getting run over. But luckily, a lady with a heart of gold saw the fawn and decided to help it, letting it into her home and feeding it. The fawn turned out to be one of the most affectionate and loving animals, running over to the lady when called, drinking from a bottle, and impatiently waiting for her by the door every morning to be let in.

With that lady lives a dog, one who was significantly bigger than the fawn at the time, and since the dog is affectionate and the fawn is as well, a wholesome friendship quickly bloomed between the fawn and the dog. They hang out together, the doggo jumps around, imitating the fawn, and it is just cuteness and adorableness all around.

When you think of a cat and a dog, normally you imagine that the dog is doing everything possible to get the cat's attention and hang out whole the cat is being a slow meanie and ignoring it. Well, welcome to opposite day - where the cat is needy and the dog cannot be bothered.

It's hilarious and adorable at the same time. This is one of the most chill friendships between a cat and a dog that we've ever seen. It's so clear that these guys are best buddies and love and trust each other deeply. So, watching the cat climb all over the dog and knead it, trying to find the most comfortable spot on the doggo bed to snuggle while the dog is calmly letting it do its thing is just painfully cute

Dog That Hated Adopted Puppy At First Now Loves Her (Viral Thread)

It's always a worry - whether the new pet you bring home will get along with the one that you already have. We hope for the best, but when it doesn't go the way we hope, we find ourselves a little devastated. Imgur user monachopsisss experienced that same fear with their 2-year-old lab and the new puppy that they adopted and shared it in this imgur thread

But, the story of these two doggos is one that brings hope. Just because your adopted pet doesn't immediately get along with the pet you have, doesn't mean that they never will. It'll take time, but with enough love and care all around, they will most likely start getting along just like these two beauties.

The story of this lovely emu is painfully wholesome. Her owner had passed away, and she was left alone. Happily though, she was taken in as urgently as possible into the amazing Blind Spot Animal Sanctuary and found a new home and a new love right there - in her new human dad.

Assimilating wasn't easy, of course, so the caretakers at the shelter thought to introduce her to a male emu who would have hopefully been her best friend. They did everything to find this companion for her. Yet, despite finding him, her eyes were only on her human, following him everywhere, running after him when he leaves, and pretty much doing everything with him. And, not gonna lie, it's as much adorable as it is wholesomely silly

"We absolutely adore her," says the narrator in the video, and all we can say in return is: so do we.

Wholesome Fawns Being Deer Friends With Other Animals

Tiny baby deer, is there anything more wholesome? They're gangly, their speedy, their adorable, and they have the cutest, purest, most heartwarming ability of making friends with other animals. Cats, dogs, bunnies, apparently fawns just like to cuddle and make friends.

Unlikely animal friendships are some of our favorites. Any story of an animal from one species befriending an animal from another species has something quite special about it. But there's something about fawns being friends with other animals that is even more special still - perhaps it's the apparent innocence, perhaps it's just because baby animals are adorable.

Regardless, get ready to have your heart flutter because these pictures are just too cute to handle.

For some reason, cats just have a thing for stealing dogs' beds. Now, normally, we'd look at that and see kind of a jerk move by the cat - tsk tsk tsk you don't need that much space friend, and you have your own bed.

But in this case, yes, the theft may have occurred, but it was theft with permission. Because this bestest of all best boy large doggo gets up and gives the kitten his bed. So, we just know that, with compromises such as these, this is a friendship that is very likely to blossom into something too adorable to handle.

Cats Shamelessly Stealing Dogs' Beds

It is a known fact that cats and dogs living together is a challenge sometimes. It's understandable. They're just so different behaviorally and have difficulty getting each other sometimes. But! As cat and dog lovers, we also know that sometimes, cats and dogs are the bestest of all friends despite everything.

That doesn't mean that there are no shenanigans though.

Our most loveable jerk kitties do have a habit of stealing the beds of their patient good boy doggos' companions. But you know what, if the dog isn't mad, then we're not mad either. We're just endlessly amused.

Anyone who has ever walked a dog knows that dogs are absolute magnets of attention. People stop, people wanna pet, sometimes you'll even start up a conversation with another dog owner and well, since your dogs are friends now, you kinda have to be friends too. Maybe you'll even find your future lady companion through one of these dog-initiated meetings.

Basically, dogs are the best chick magnets, but this time, we mean it literally. Dogs are total BFFs with chicks. Tiny yellow chicks. And it's so adorable it hurts. So, yes, even literally, dogs are better chick magnets than all of us.
