Just running your fingers through the fluff on that tail feels like getting to touch something magical, and some cats' tails are fluffier and more majestic than most. All that said, those cats sure do leave a lot of fur all over the place. That's okay though, we forgive them. We wear that fur on our clothes with pride.

Imgur user, ARussianAndHisBike, has a reoccurring series of cat images and it's all for the sole purrpose of spreading joy and bringing peace to yourself. Whenever ARussianAndHisBike is feeling angry, frustrated, or concerned, looking at images of cats online really helps. 

Truthfully, we do it, too. And definitely believe it works! They say having a cat is beneficial for one's health, there are studies that having a cat can lower your stress levels, and therefore lower your risk of heart disease. According to the US National Library of Medicine National Institutes of Health, "Owning a cat can actually lower one's risk of various heart diseases, including stroke, by around 30 percent."

Not only can they lower your risk for heart disease, but their purr can help heal joint mobility after an injury! Pubmed studies have discovered "that frequencies in the 18-35 HZ range have a positive effect on joint mobility after an injury."

And there's even more and more health benefits when it comes to cats. And even though these following images aren't physically there with you, perhaps their strange magical healing properties can be delivered to you through a simple act image.

A woman from China noticed her tablet was covered in the white fur of her 7-month-old cat, nicknamed Er Niu. When she opened up the tablet, she discovered that Er Niu had taken dozens of selfie pictures. And the best part? When Er Niu's owner is scrolling through the collection of purrfect selfies, you can tell the selfies really captured the adorable expressions of Er Niu.

The video of the selfies was uploaded to China's equivalent of Tik Tok called Douyin, where it went viral.

Happy humpday everyone! Just think, you're halfway through the week and we're here to give you that extra push to get you to the weekend even sooner. 

Cats. Nothing warms up our hearts more than seeing wholesome images of cats. Or images of cats being ridiculous and hilarious. Or just images of cats. They are all so beautiful and these cats all belong to someone who loves them to the moon and back. And beautiful of that overwhelming love we feel for them, it's always hard to say goodbye whenever they do leave us. 

Besides these cats being so amazing and adorable, quite of few down below have sadly crossed over the rainbow bridge. We're here to appreciate all cats but also all those who have recently left. They may be gone but never forgotten. 

Klarieke, a cat owner from Greece, has three adult cats: Jack, Louis, and Stavros. She and her family adopted Stavros just one year ago, Klarieke tells Love Meow, "Stavros lived on the streets and was very ill. He was rescued by a Dutch girl who stays in Zakynthos every summer. She was looking for a home (for the cat) in Holland, so we decided to adopt him." 

"My husband and I said to each other, 'this is the last cat, three is enough," she added. 

That is until Stavros befriended a stray kitten and brought that kitten home.

Today's unlikely relationships treat is cats with sheep. Cats have an insanely unfair reputation of being too unfriendly. People who don't own cats simply do not understand just how cuddly they can be. With humans or with other animals, cats tend to gravitate toward whoever is kind to them. Of course, kindness for cats is not the same as, say- kindness for dogs. 

Cats appreciate their space, they appreciate respect, they believe in being independent and treated as such. And they very highly appreciate floof. Floof is one of the ultimate things that cats are attracted to. And who has more fluff that sheep? So, while on its face, cats and sheep may look like an unlikely relationship, once you think about it, it kind of does make sense.  

Most of you have seen the longcat meme but not everyone knows who the longcat is. 

Longcat, who's real name is Shiro-chan, but is referenced to as "Nobiko," the Japanese translated of "longcat." Shiro-chan took the internet by storm in 2006. Shiro-chan rose to fame when an image of the white feline reportedly stood at 65cm from head to toe. Eventually, Shiro-chan came to be known as Longcat, according to Know Your Meme. 

The news of Nobikos passing comes for a Hong Kong Journalist, Kris Cheng, who has written articles for The Washing Post. According to Shiro-chan's owner, they discovered the feline at home being very lethargic and was taken to the vet immediately. Sadly, Shiro-chan was too ill to undergo any X-Rays and just a few hours later, passed away. Shiro-chan's owners are coping with the loss as best they can, and so is the internet who are mourning the meme legendary.

RIP, Shiro-chan. We'll miss you and your extraordinary length.  Say "hi" to Grumpy Cat and Lil Bub, for the world. 

Another week means it's time to reflect on the best cat videos we came across on Instagram. We are constantly searching for the best of the best to deliver, and this week we have another purrfect blend of funny meets cute. 

What are cats? Yes, they're cute. But they're also unpredictable and quite crazy. If they want something, they'll make sure to get it. Even if you move it well out of their reach, they'll get it. It doesn't matter where it is, whether on a pile of books on your desk, next to one of your windows, or if it's just one line of sun across your sheets, they'll find it, and they'll make the best of it.

They're the cuddliest when they're sunbathing. It's one of the best times to come to them and gently hug them and press our noses into their warm fur. And everyone loves cuddling calm kittens - adults, other cats, and even babies. So, let your heart warm by enjoying these gorgeous cats in the sunshine and have an incredible day!
