After the devastating fire that rampaged Australia, The Rescue Collective, a Brisbane-based wildlife charity, described the situation as "a wildlife apocalypse."

Sadly, it is feared that thousands of Koalas have died in the blaze, and others from injures caused by the blaze.

But the people of Australia are doing their best to save the endangered koalas to the best of their efforts.

In this video,  you witness cyclists who have stopped in their tracks to give a parched koala some much-needed water. After giving water from seven bottles to the animal, the group cycled home thirsty in 40 degree heat.

A little bit of kindness goes a long way. We're thankful for those who are doing what they can to help these defenseless creatures and hope it inspires others to do good in their neighborhoods, as well!

WE'RE CRYING AND WE DON'T CARE WHO KNOWS IT.

After 500 days of waiting for a forever home, this shelter dog finally gets to walk the walk of freedom! And to commemorate the beautiful moment, the Niagara SPCA animal shelter in Niagara Falls, New York, threw the six-year-old pup named Bonita the ultimate parade!

The moment was filmed and you can see Bonita leaping with joy and giving kisses to the bystanders as she finally leaves the shelter and onto her forever home!

Bonita was the oldest guest at the shelter, having arrived August 13, 2008 and finally being adopted December 12th, 2019.

We're so happy that Bonita will get the start the new year in a new and loving home!

"Where do you see yourself 10 years from now?"

Us:

We know this video is a bit old but it's most certainly gold! And 100% worth sharing again!

When you think about jazzing up your space for your furbaby, you think of adding a cat tree, maybe a window shelf, or even a catio!

This man just out did ALL of us and our inside-the-box thoughts on what a playground for a cat could be like.

...We desperately want to move in.

The architect behind this incredible home, Peter Cohen, has constructed elaborate catwalks, tunnels, platforms and perches throughout his California home. He currently has 22 rescue cats is selling catwalks to raise money to fight kitty FIP. If you're wondering what the playhouse looks like in 2019, there's a new video update you can find right here!

You rock, Peter Cohen!

This week, two young Rocky Mountain goats have been introduced to their new home in Oregon Zoo and simply can't contain their bouncy, fluffy selves. The mountain goats are 5-month-olds — a male named Murphy and a female named Lena. Murphy and Lena are joining some adult goats Sassy and Montane in the rocky Cascade Crest habitat near the zoo's main entrance.

Amy Cutting, who oversees the zoo's Great Northwest area had this to say, "We are so happy to welcome these kids into the herd. They started scampering around their new habitat right away, and soon enough Sassy and Montane will be showing them the ropes."

Even though the young goats are very young, that haven't stopped them from mastering the art of hopping from rock to rock!

Cutting continues to talk about these goat kids, "These kids came from Olympic National Park, so we're especially grateful we can provide a home for them here. Mountain goats are a non-native species in those mountains, and it's critical for that unique ecosystem that they be removed"

All we can say after watching these adorable bouncy kids run around... man, we wish we had that energy.

Bear with us here as we gather all the details on this terrifying and crazy story.

In Fresno, California, Taylor Hawkins was on her way to the gorgeous National Park of Sequoia and Kings Canyon, when an unexpected guest decided to hitch a ride right in front of her...

A bear. A bear causally walked up to the car in front of hers, looked at the trunk and the climbed onto the car. Taylor Hawkins was about to capture the outrageous moment on video.

Just seconds after the bear climbed onto the car, it seemed to get spooked and immediately jumps down and takes off. However, it didn't go too far. The bear stopped just near the edge of the road and looked back at the car it was previously on top of for a few seconds.

There's nothing as wild as wild life itself, huh? Thankfully, no one was injured during this attempted hitchhike and now it's just a great story to tell.
