Why yes, I do know how to pronounce the word "indubitably." Were you expecting a chick wearing a top hat to lack any sort of linguistic sophistication? Clearly you've not spent nearly enough time around chicks wearing top hats, my good sir. Now if you excuse me, I must make haste to this afternoon's tea time with my cousin Richard. Have a jolly day, chap!

These two chickens survived a vicious Fox attack this last december, and my grandmother knitted two little jumpers for them to wear as many of their feathers were pulled out in the attack. Now they are warm this winter on the farm <3

Little Road Runner almost died while trying to get out of his shell so we helped him out just a tad. He was very weak the next few days but he grew into a very strong (and handsome) rooster.

And best pals Sage and Onion are ready, thanks to hand-knitted jumpers purchased on eBay by their new owner, Sue Christy.

She rescued the hens from a factory farm where the conditions were so poor they had lost all of their feathers.

"When they come out of the farm some of them, as cruel as it sounds, just look oven-ready," Christy said. "'They have never known day light and they have never known fresh air and when we get them they are in a really sorry state. 'They are also very cold because they are so bald. I just feel so sorry for them."
