Now as soon as this human is done taking this adorable little wildlife photo, I am going to let you go. You are going to run away as fast and far as you can. Because as soon as I'm done mauling him, you're next.

This wolf has found himself adrift in a sea of snow. We should bring him some hot cocoa and help him thaw out!

Anita had not been in Polar Zoo in about 2 months. When she returned I had the chance to film her first meeting in a long time with the wolves she spent a long time socializing from 16th of May 2008. The video is recorded in Polar Zoo and any questions related to socializing process should be taken with them. For more information about the socialized wolf pack go to Polar Zoo.

He chose the perfect moment. His mournful cry echoed through the stillness of the forest, declaring to all that he was still the master hunter, the top dog as it were, the alpha male of the pack, the lord of the forest.

It was subsequently ruined by a little chipmunk screaming for him to "Shut the hell up!"

Members of the Monte Adone Centre for Conservation and Research of Exotic and Wild Fauna rescued a wounded, malnourished wolf from the freezing cold waters of the Limentra in the Italian province of Bologna. They found the wolf, given the name Navarre, partially paralyzed and in an extreme state of hypothermia.

They later learned that Navarre had been shot multiple times with lead pellets, but fortunately these bullets caused no major damage to the wolf's internal organs.

The Centre says that Navarre is beginning to heal and that "day after day [he] demonstrates a strong temperament and an increasing desire to live."
