Some pictures are simply too incredible to be described in anything less than 1000 words. Every week, we bring you some of these pictures. There's so much story within them, whether it's a story of unique animals, 'caught in the act' moments, unexpected relationships, or scheming cats.
Each of these pictures has a story behind it that we wish we would know. But since most of the times a picture is just a picture, and we don't know what happened to bring such a moment into existence, all we have left to do is imagine. And imagine we do.
I suspect the reason that this hedgehog is attacking a toy dinosaur is because it's feeling the prehistoric instincts it has from the time during which the hedgehog was the big predator, and the dinosaur was the prickly cutie. But hey, your theory is just as correct as mine.

OK, this is adorable.
Michael Dutko, an Ohio woodworker, has just created the cutest and coolest squirrel bar we've ever seen. "The Nutty Bar" features seven different types of nuts named after beers: Cashew Dunkel, Peanut Pilsner, Almond Ale, Walnut Stout, Sunflower Saison, Pecan Porter and Pistachio Pale Ale.
We're not even squirrels and we would like to attend this bar!
Dutko explained to CNN how he thought of the awesome project, "The whole reason I even started to make this is because my neighbor bird watches with her daughter and told me all of the squirrels keep getting in her way. I didn't even tell her what I was going to do, I just built it and put it back there and when she saw it, she just started cracking up."
Not only is there the bar, but quirky signs bathroom signs that read, "Nuts" and "No Nuts." How fun is that?
The overall process took Dutko 8 hours to complete and measures to be about 25in wide and 16in tall. After sharing a video of the process on YouTube, Dutko became flooded with users who requested to purchase the bar. He immediately went to go get his idea patented and now planning on launching a business doing what he loves!
"It's surreal to me that I was able to make such an impact by doing something so little with something I love so much. I'm so amazed. People have been so kind and positive. And my kids definitely love it too, they're always watching the squirrels stuff their faces with nuts and they think it's just so cute."
It all starts with a photo.
A photo that some can make into funny animal memes, or possibly can be made into a fun photoshop battle!
This time around it was an adorable squirrel reaching high above in an (if you're asking us) awkward position. So obviously... it became photoshop battle worthy! Thanks to the subreddit /r/Psphotoshopbattles, we can find some pretty epic and funny photos being transformed into well, whatever they want really! We mean did you see the epic photos @koty_vezde makes as she photoshops cat faces onto, any other animal!?
Well, in the meantime scroll on down for a pretty good laugh!
The cutest squirrel EVER. Yup. We said it.
The Japanese Dwarf Flying Squirrel looks like a real-life Disney character brought to life. Those giant eyes, that perfect round body, those giant eyes -- again! We're in love. We want to be surrounded by these squirrels as we sing nonsense about washing the dishes or folding the laundry.
The Japanese Dwarf Flying Squirrel is native to Japan, you'd find it in the "sub-alpine forests and boreal evergreen forests on Honshu and Kyushu islands." And good news, this squirrel faces absolutely no threats and is listed as "least-concern species".
We don't know much of this world but we do know we love this squirrel.
Oh, squirrels. They are just entertaining animals. Their frantic movements, their amazing acrobatic selves move with such urgency and grace (well... sometimes).
The way squirrels need to infiltrate any and all birdseed feeders they come across. They're wild and hilarious and we can watch them all day. Instead, we'll settle for some memes to pass the time.
Picture this:
You're just looking outside at the beautiful sky and yard. All of a sudden something catches your eye, you see the teeny tiny picnic table you set up for squirrels, and low and behold, you see 3 squirrels using it! Then you keep looking, a little closer and it turns out that there seems to be a little party happening...because a squirrel, chipmunk, AND groundhog walk up to a teeny tiny full stacked picnic table!
That's right!
A squirrel, chipmunk, and groundhog were pictured sharing a meal together in Kingston, Rhode Island, and apparently, according to Ronald Lopes (who took the photos) the three get together almost every day!
Squirrels are incredible animals -- they're crazy crafty, curious, and never give up. If they want to steal some of those seeds from your bird feeder -- you better believe they will!
But we can't help but admire their craftiness and persistence! In fact, I'm sure we all sort of wish we had some squirrel tendencies of our own. Not that whole, burying nuts/food for the winter thing because that could get moldy and nasty quickly.
Check out some chonky squirrels who are having their cake and eating it too!
Danny Connor is a zoologist and wildlife photographer who lives in a deserted village in northern Sweden, surrounded by wild forests.
One of her favorite photo objects was Remy, an adorable red squirrel who she described as "Confident and bold".
When Danny sadly discovered Remy died after being hit by a car, she decided to "Adopt" her four babies.
On her Twitter account, she chronicles the amazing story behind it and her special connection with her new furry friends.
Okay, you might be thinking -- 21 minutes?! I'm not sitting through that!
But we promise every minute of this fantastic and elaborate video is worth watching. If you don't know who Mark Rober is, and you enjoy watching a mix of scientific-education and downright awesomeness to the max -- you got to check out more of his videos!
In his newest video, Rober has decided to create the ultimate ninja warrior-like obstacle course for the squirrels in his backyard. Don't worry, the obstacle course is squirrel-friendly and Rober does a wonderful job of explaining it all!
The end goal for the squirrels? Delicious nuts, of course! You'll laugh and be in amazement and full wonderment for 21 minutes, so why not take a break from this world for a moment and dive into some crazy (and really cute) squirrel action? It's more nuts than we could've imagined.
Seriously, these little guys are everywhere, looking for nuts.
Let us take this moment to salute the pesky (yet resilient) little Sciuridae in all its goofy, adorable glory.
