Meowmoirs: November 13, 2020 The Light Squares

Studying his new environment, Earnie begins noticing that, even though they pay a lot of attention to him, they don't always pay attention to him when he wants them to. Why? Light squares - i.e. the TV, the computer and the phones. He both hates and loves them.

Meowmoirs: laptops are heaters, and phones are haters.

Read about Earnie's love/hate relationship with the strange squares of light that the humans spend hours staring at. He's been trying to figure out their uses and only managed to figure out some.

Read last week's entry that's all about 'the chamber of water' (the bathroom) here!

You can hop back to the first entry about the day of adoption right here as well.

the sixth entry of meowmoirs diary of a cat about the cat's reaction to tvs laptops and phones thumbnail includes a picture of a cat laying its head on a laptop the name of the entry and a quote from it 'Cat - Meowmoirs: The Light Squares November 13, 2020 The more effective way of using it would be to indeed sit CANHAS CHEEZ BURGER on it... It keeps my behind wonderfully toasty.'

Cats guide to ignoring a hooman call:

If they call you directly: walk away. If they call you by phone: pick up the phone, and then walk away

This gem of a video recently popped up on the YouTube timeline and we figured it would be a good time to revisit this classic moment.

This video was taken in 1994, so for those who don't know what a landline phone looks like -- this is it right here! When the cat's owner used to come home, the phone would be off the hook with no explanation.

Turns out, her cat, Pumba, couldn't stand the sound of that continuous ring and will often disable the sound by answering the phone.

All we can say is that is one smart cat.

It is added at the bottom of the video's description that Pumba had sadly passed away in 2011, but thanks to YouTube, "he lives to entertain us."
