New Short Comic From Jenny-Jinya About Extinction

Leave it to Jenny-Jinya to hit us right in the feels on the day of love. Jinya uploaded a new short comic on February 14th and as always, it brought the feels along with it.

Jenny-Jinya is quite known for her reaper comics, and her strong messages that come with each and every comic. Some comics are happy ones, most are sad, but all make us want to sob. This short comic is no different. The comic is about a Carolina Parakeet who asks death to see their colorful feathers once more because it's been so long and they can't remember what it looked it. The rest is Feel-Town, USA, population us.

After the comic was uploaded, Twitter users quickly shared their thoughts and pain. Follow Jenny-Jinya on Twitter and/or Instagram

Just when you think the world is missing a little kindness, you come across something that is so kind and so pure, and your faith is restored yet again. When one day, this man came across a parakeet egg inside of a cage in a pet store and found out that its mother had been sold, he did what many of us wish we had the strength to do - he took the egg home, cared for it, and helped this tiny parakeet hatch.

So much care, time, and love has to be put into such an act of kindness. We are not only touched and thankful for this video and this person, we also find ourselves inspired to do something kind of others ourselves.

It's all cute and fun until that parakeet learns how to order seeds! This is Kiwi, the parakeet, who has activated Siri on an iPhone and actually engages in a full conversation with Siri!

We're impressed. Not even humans can engage in a full conversation with Siri! Birds are interesting creatures. They're intelligent, they can talk (well, some can), and they make the absolute best memes! Lots of love and appreciation for Kiwi and all the birds out there! Except for seagulls, as usual.

Jenny Jinya's Comic About A Parakeet Is A Real Tearjerker

Oh, that Jenny Jinya. She never fails at ripping our hearts out.

The talented artist who has a gift at tugging on people's heartstrings has returned with another heartbreaking comic. If you aren't familiar with Jinya's work, they all feature neglect to animals. It's sometimes hard to digest but there is a powerful meaning and message behind every story she tells.

Stories of dogs, cats, birds, elephants, you name it, Jenny Jinya will tell it and leave you punched right in the feels.  This time, it's about a neglected parakeet who couldn't live up to its owners expectations and was a nuisance. Just a friendly heads up, you'll want some tissues in arm's reach.

The Academy Awards are awesome, but these movie posters prove that they would be EVEN BETTER with more fuzzy and feathered friends. Beavers of the Southern Wild? Dingo Unchained? Critics agree... these are fantastic.
