The decades-old mystery (35 years) of the washed-up Garfield phones in Brittany, France, has been solved and the coastal residents finally got their answer.
When three pets he had never seen before showed up at his apartment door, writer John Paul Brammer (@jpbrammer) went on to try to solve a mystery of Hitchcockian proportions, involving empty rooms, doors that mysteriously locked and more.
After Dr. Claire Simeone (@Claire_Simeone) received dozens of unexplained phone calls from her workplace in Kona, Hawaii, she discovered the culprit was a tiny gecko perched on the screen of a phone. Here is how she told her story on her twitter account.
Dogs love their stuffed animals. They become very attached and are like the best of friends. Going everywhere together. Well, that's how it was for Hank the dog and his best friend, his purple stuffed animal named Fuzzy Purple Hippo. But now the animal shelter in Wisconsin has a case to settle… you see, they had found Fuzzy Purple Hippo torn to pieces! Alleged, it was Hank that (literally) tore their relationship apart. But when the staff at the animal shelter tried to question Hank on the incident, He just remained well, tightlipped. Not even a peep! The animal shelter decided they had to get to the bottom of this! They even had updates via their Instagram page for others to tune into the ongoing investigations…
It's not clear whether this is just a fun stunt dreamt up by the cat's owner or there is some true-blue confusion as to whether their beloved missing cat has actually returned home. Another possibility is the missing cat is not the same as the cat on the window sill. Either way, this photo captured of a cat standing next to it's own missing poster is pretty darn hilarious! Welcome home, kitty...I guess...
What do you think? Is the cat the same one on the poster?
Scientists recently discovered that dogs prefer aligning their bodies with the Earth's magnetic field when relieving themselves.
According to a study published in Frontiers in Zoology, 70 dogs out of 37 different breeds were observed taking care of business over 7,400 times (sounds like a fun job...). The dogs showed a preference of positioning themselves with the north-south axis. Results of the study found that they not only prefer facing the north-south direction, but also deliberately avoid aligning themselves in an east-west position.
Who knew your dog would come in handy as a compass every time it drops a deuce? I guess that gives one more reason to call them "Man's Best Friend."
