Blind Feral Kitten Reunited With His Half-Blind Brother

A true Christmas miracle! A 14-week-old kitten with no eyes was rescued by the RSPCA and reunited with his half blind brother.

As the RSPCA reports, the blind kitten, later named Gabriel, despite having no eyes, is completely healthy. It is assumed that Gabriel had the cat flue, and so it is a miracle in and of itself that he survived.

Krissy Raine, the RSPCA inspector who rescued Gabriel, explained: "It's amazing that Gabriel survived. I took him to a vet and they believe he had cat flu which left his eyes badly damaged and they perished. But he is very healthy, he needed no treatment from the vets at all." She continued: "Even though he was from a feral colony when I took him to the vets, they were shocked by how calm and friendly he was and instantly fell in love with him. We named him Gabriel as he is an absolute angel and everyone who meets him adores him!"

That's not all though. A second miracle happened when Gabriel was brought into the shelter. There, he met another half-blind cat who was rescued a few weeks prior from the same area. Arthur is also believed to have had the flu which damaged one of his eyes. That eye had  to be removed through surgery, but thankfully, his other eye was saved.

When Gabriel was brought into the shelter, "[t]he brothers instantly recognised each other."

And today, they are living together in the same foster home. "Gemma couldn't believe it when she realised she had rescued his brother a few weeks before and we knew we had to reunite them. Arthur was being looked after by a foster family and they were so excited to hear that his brother had been rescued - they welcomed him with open arms too. They are both with the same foster family now, they are such calm, caring and affectionate cats - such special little angels. Now that they are back together, Arthur can guide Gabriel through life."

The brothers will now be looking for a forever home where they will hopefully be able to live together. "It's a Christmas miracle for Gabriel and Arthur - we're just so pleased that they are together for Christmas Day, it's the perfect gift for them."

We wish this pair of angels luck in their new lives and a forever home in the new year! For more positive animal stories, take a look at our collection of the best animal news stories of 2020!

Love can transform all. Sometimes, we can forget that, and then we see something miraculous and it opens our eyes to the truth once more.

The truth being, that love is powerful. In a breathtaking video (that currently has over 6million views), taken by TikTok user Lacey Scott, we are introduced to an old fish on the verge of dying. Lacey Scott took in this old fish, named him Monstro, and gave him proper care.

What happened next is so magical and beautiful, you'd have to see it to believe it. Trust it, it's worth every second.

Thank you for your loving heart, Lacey Scott.

Dog Miraculously Found Guarding Home Weeks After It Was Destroyed By Fire

Madison the Anatolian shepherd is breaking hearts around the world after he was found guarding his family home weeks after it was ravaged by California's Camp wildfire.

The Anatolian shepherd's owner, Andrea Gaylord, was not able to get to her home in Paradise, Calif., when the fire began to spread Nov. 8, meaning Madison was left behind. When the evacuation order was lifted last week and Gaylord went back to the property — which had been decimated by the fire — her prayers were answered: Madison was there, seemingly protecting what little remained of his family's home. When Madison's owner, Andrea Gaylord, found the dog patiently waiting she told him, "you are the best dog. The best."

art the cat was hit by a car in Tampa, Florida on January 17 and thought to be dead by his owner in Florida. He was found in the street in a pool of blood and buried.

Five days later, he showed up in their neighbor's yard very much alive.

"I saw him with my own eyes. I know he was dead. He was cold and stiff," the neighbor told ABC News.

They took him to the vet after his "resurrection" (maybe they should have done this before burying him?) where he was treated for a broken jaw, open facial wounds and a ruined eye.

"We have seen many amazing cases at our full-service veterinary clinic," wrote the Humane Society of Tampa on its website. "But this situation may take the cake!"

A GoFundMe page was set up by the neighbor to raise money for Bart's medical costs.

The Humane Society posted an updated on his condition Tuesday on Facebook.

Bart The Miracle Cat has successful surgery! He was a brave boy and is now resting comfortably. He is spending the night with our good friends at Tampa Bay Veterinary Emergency Service so he can be monitored. He will return to us in the morning and need a week or so to recover before going back home!

remembersarah says: "This is my miracle bunny, Nubs. I placed him on his back so it'd be easier to see why he is named in such a way. He is missing half of his hind legs, as well as his tail because his mother chewed them off the day after he was born. He was bleeding quite a bit, so I was afraid he wouldn't make it, but after plenty of special attention and prayer, Nubs miraculously survived. Now he is several months old, healthy, and his little nubs have healed nicely."

You are a hero! Nubs looks so happy!
