Recently, we've been on a tiny animal kick, featuring the adorable dik-dik's, or how about those insanely cute Japanese dwarf flying squirrels? 

Well, we're continuing this cuteness run with another uncommonly known animal that deserves your attention: the long-eared jerboa! The long-eared jerboa is a rare nocturnal rodent that is very mouse-like. However, unlike a mouse, it has long hind legs (much like a kangaroo) and comically (and adorably) long ears. Oh, and it also has a miniature snout that resembles a pig. 

Be honest, have you ever seen a cuter mouse/rabbit/kangaroo/piglet mix? We didn't think so! 

We're melting! It's as if someone combined a kangaroo, koala, sloth, monkey, and bear, and thus -- the tree kangaroo was born! 

This animal can be founds in the rain forests of Australia, West Papua, and Papua New Guinea. Often called by local, "ghost of the forest," the elusive tree kangaroo. Tree kangaroos are marsupials so just like a kangaroo, they carry their offsprings in their pouch. The only difference is that they were built for climbing trees. 

They are peaceful animals who enjoy sleeping and eating a herbivore diet! Oh, and they're cute as heck.

We love this duo! The unique eight-week-old Labrador mix was born with 6-legs but hops around on her back paws -- thus explaining the name Roo! For those of you who are unfamiliar with the name, Roo is the baby Kangaroo from 'Winnie the Pooh', and the cutest possible name for this little lab!

It's official now: the world has started to get a bit whacky. We have been seeing hints of this for a while, as feral hogs took over the minds of innocent Twitter denizens; I don't think Trump has been doing much to help the situation; and surely this 50 meter long penis near Geelong, Australia isn't normal (what's going on Australia?). My point is, weird things are happening. And they got even weirder when a video emerged of a mob of kangaroos hopping around on the snow. Wait - what? Snow? Australia? Kangaroos? Something is wrong. 

Picture this: you're walking down the aisle in an airplane and when you find your seat, there's a turkey sitting next to it. Or a pig. Or a monkey. It sounds like a comedy routine, but it isn't. In the past few years, there has been an unprecedented rise in people having 'emotional support animals', particularly when traveling on airplanes. While any step towards improving mental health is applauded, there have been many incidents involving emotional support animals on airplanes that really don't belong there. We can't blame these untrained animals for acting the way animals act, but we can question the laws that allow them on board. With new regulations from the US Department of Transport, things are about to change. We discuss these changes below, and whether they are for the better or the worse.

Officers on the Mornington Peninsula sprung into action when a kangaroo jumped into choppy waters and got caught in a swell.

Chris "Brolga" Barnes started The Kangaroo Sanctuary in central Australia in 2005 by rescuing orphaned joeys and caring for them throughout their lives. He did this when it was just a hole in the wall small place, to give little joeys a fighting chance. Now a full-fledged operation, tourists can visit the sanctuary and interact with the kangaroos themselves! Just take a look for yourself! 

Austrians often lament having their European country mistaken for Australia - which is 14,000km (8,700 miles) away - and a kangaroo sighting there may complicate matters. Either way, the animal has been spotted in northern Austria, with no zoos or breeders in the area saying they've lost one.
