Once a week, we will be featuring an extraordinary animal account on Instagram! Their story, the adorable pictures, and pawesome videos! This week's spotlight goes to Zeus, the blind owl! 

You've probably seen Zeus before, he went viral for his incredible peepers! Eyes that look as if they contain the whole universe and all the answers to the unknown. When we hear or think of a 'Wise Owl,' it's Zeus who we think of. Zeus may be blind but he sure has the most enchanting eyes.

Zeus is a Western Screech Owl with a great wingspan. On his Instagram, it is mentioned that he has about 10% of his vision, and is able to see shapes and memorize his immediate surroundings. He currently is being cared for at the Wildlife Learning Center in Los Angeles, California. The wildlife center's mission is to "provide public education that inspires people to care for our wildlife, to care for our environment, to develop a deep interest in the life sciences, and to give loving care and sanctuary to animals in need."

Tootie cat is a 3-year-old British Shorthair, a golden shaded cat. She's got an adorable round face complete with fuzzy ears and big ol' eyes! She loves playing with ripped shopping bags and her favorite food is chicken. 

Tootie cat currently has an Instagram following of 99k! Talk about being toots popular. According to the Q&A posted by her owner, she originally set up the Instagram page as a means to simply document Tootie's growth, then things just took off! 

Get ready to fall in love with this big-eyed cutie pa-tootie!

Once a week, we will be featuring an extraordinary animal account on Instagram! Their story, the adorable pictures, and pawesome videos! This week's spotlight goes to Thor, the flying cat! 

This week's spotlight goes to an upcoming and rising star -- Thor. A beautiful orange cat who can jump fly into his owner's arms on command! It's quite a spectacular sight! And if any animal jumps onto you, such as Thor, that's a huge sign of trust.

We were able to get in touch with our spotlight star's owners and was shared Thor, and his siblings, story, "Thor and his siblings were born on 9/6/19 in our shed. There were 5 kittens for Momma Crook (as we referred to her, due to a crooked tail) – a barn cat that moved into our shed earlier that year. Three weeks later, I had returned from a trip overseas when my husband let me know that Crook hadn't been seen in several days and one of her kittens had passed – the other 4 were crying/hungry." 

Thor's owners cared for the remaining kittens and decided to name the kittens after Marvel Comics Universe characters, due to them being their every own superhero kittens. Deciding early on that they would keep the kittens they named Thor and Pepper, the other kittens were soon adopted to forever homes, once they were old enough. 

Soon enough, the kittens grew and began to explore, climb, jump, all those cute crazy kitten shenanigans. 

Thor's owners continue, "Thor started jumping around 2-3 months old. First onto my back as I would be leaning down to place food dishes, pick up cat toys, scoop the litter box. It wasn't until he could get onto the countertop on his own that he jumped to me, unexpectedly! After several instances of surprise kitten attacks, I decided to channel his tendency into something he would do only if prompted. 

On Christmas Day, 2019, I captured our first intentional jump together." Keep flying high, Thor!

Once a week, we will be featuring an extraordinary animal account on Instagram! Their story, the adorable pictures, and pawesome videos! This week's spotlight goes to Charlie, the heart-eyed Dalmation! 

Charlie's Instagram follows him and his liver Dalmation brother Cash's adventures. Charlie is a long coat Dalmation with some very unique 'spots,' in fact we wouldn't say spots at all! Charlie just so happens to have two heart-shaped 'spots'  right on both of his eyes, giving him a heart-eyed appearance that sent him into Instagram stardom! 

I mean, who wouldn't fall in love with such love looking back at you? We're goo goo eyes about Charlie! 

Charlie's owners have created a Charlie shirt with all funds being directed to ChildFund International, in hopes of stopping child trafficking. Check out the adorable shirt for a great cause here!

Introducing the world's most royal cat... Princess Aurora! Chances are you've already heard or have seen Aurora, that's how well-known she is. With an Instagram following of nearly half a million, this princess anything but ordinary. 

She may be called "Princess" Aurora but to us, she's the Queen of Fluff. Seriously, this little beauty so so darn fluffy, you just wanna press your face into that floof all day long. Oh, and she's got beautiful blue eyes that'll have you melt and instantly offer her a Fancy Feast. 

This is Aurora's world, we just live in it.
