Maru the shiba inu is described as the most famous shiba in the world. Considering the amount of shiba inu fans coming to Japan, these themed hotel rooms in Kyoto make perfect sense. The newly open hotel is called Marugott and contains rooms produced by Maru's owner, Shinjiro Ono. We're talking shiba inu beds, shiba inu cushions, shiba inu walls, shiba inu closets, shiba inu everything! Sadly, Maru himself won't be resident in the hotel, but guests should be content with seeing his likeness massively blown up and plastered all over the wall.

Toronto YouTuber Corey Dixon announced via Twitter that his best friend and family member, 4-year-old service dog Aspen, had sadly died after falling ill during a weeklong stay at a PetSmart pet hotel. Dixon also stated that his vet informed him that Aspen died of severe pneumonia. Something that was overlooked while staying at PetSmart. While PetSmart has retaliated saying that Aspen's death was due to pre-existing conditions...

Founder, Jian Qin, presents his venture as an opportunity to promote the panda spirit to the whole world and raise awareness for the protection of the environment. All the hotel's facilities are related to pandas, including the slippers, towels and pyjamas, and the staff wear giant panda suits. Mr Qin believes pandas are not just for China to enjoy but the whole world.
