Keep things cool for animals indoors and outdoors as a heatwave blankets parts of the United States and Canada. Read and keep in mind. 

There's a massive heatwave across Europe right now, gripping France, Spain, and Germany. Temperatures have risen up to 38 degrees Celsius (100 F) and the poor animals in the zoo are feeling it! Thankfully, their caretakers are looking out for them and finding ways to keep them cool! From frozen treats to a nice rinse -- these zookeepers are doing their best to help the animals during this heat! .

We might all be aware but just in case, this year's heatwave is scorching! And as we are heating up and racing for the AC every chance we get, something amazing has happened... Thanks to the crazy heatwave an unbelievable record number of flamingo chicks are being born in Spain and the U.K! 

Ireland was recently struck with heatwaves and it doesn't seem to be cooling down anytime soon. So in an attempt to keep that animals at Dublin Zoo nice and cool, the Zoo decided to treat the animals to some icy cold... treats! Yasmina the red panda is one example, with a fruit-filled block of ice., and the photos will melt your heart!
