According to a BBC report: "A kitten called Dave brought in by a care home after a request by a resident has brought 'immense joy and happiness.' Staff at Edensor Care Centre in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, invited residents to add wishes to a wishing tree - and one responded saying they would like a cat to look after. Deputy manager Lindsey Milliken said: 'Our new kitten Dave has made a huge difference to the atmosphere in the care center and seeing the residents' faces light up when he is about is magical. He is bringing immense joy and happiness to residents and staff.' The home said following another wish, it had now raised funds to buy two special wheelchairs to use on the beach."

This story warms our hearts and brings smiles to our faces! We alwaysss talk about how therapeutic pets can be. They bring so much love and happiness to our lives, and these kind folks got to experience that first hand. And a huge high five to little Dave for being such an awesome kitten and bringing so much happiness to the care home!

Three weeks ago, an adorable 5-week-old kitten was brought into Albuquerque Animal Welfare for emergency surgery with her face and jaw crushed. The kitten - Mittens - had to go through multiple surgeries, but unfortunately, in the beginning, they weren't enough. Since multiple surgeries were too expensive for the shelter to cover, the veterinarians that were treating Mittens offered to do the rest of the treatment for free and, in the process, came up with a new, innovative way to help Mittens, using... buttons.
