This is so precious and quite the perfect snow day! Mei Xiang and Tian Tian, two giant pandas at the Smithsonian's national zoo took advantage of this wintery weather and went out to play in the snow! And from what we're seeing, looks like they had a lot of fun. Why go sledding down a snow-covered hill when you can simply slide down it on your back?

These pandas seem to be really living in this moment and we can't help but smile at their playful interaction. We hope this video provides you with some smiles as well! Have a great day!

Be still our beating hearts! What is about pandas that turn our hearts into mush?

They're one of the cutest animals around, and it definitely helps that they're so silly and weird. Sadly, giant pandas are an endangered species that's been really tricky to breed and raise in captivity. According to National Geographic, "n the 1960s, only 30 percent of infant pandas born at breeding centers survived. Today 90 percent survive."

What changed? This video helps explains.
