Fans of the classic are already sad at the idea of witnessing the death of Mufasa, voiced by James Earl Jones, in the upcoming Disney version.

As an annual tradition, the AHL's Hershey Bears ask fans to bring stuffed animals to the rink as donations for charities in the surrounding area. The twist: Fans throw all the toys on the ice after the home team scores their first goal. This year set a new record with more than 34,000 stuffed toy donations.

For real though, this is one of those things we all just want to believe no matter what cause those things were freaking adorable. Be sure to hide the valuable merchandise though.
