Kristin Harkness and Jay Yonz from North Carolina are a very unique couple with a giant heart.
The animal-mad couple decided to spend all of their savings on giving their adopted disabled sheep a better quality of life, rather than go ahead with their wedding. And if that's not enough, they also run refuge with more than 62 disabled animals including dogs and cats.

A beautiful puma named Messi who was rescued from a Russian contact zoo lives the life of a spoiled domestic house cat with humans Sasha and Masha in Penza. Messi (named after football player Lionel Messi) is a very playful cat who enjoys chasing after toys both inside and outside, loves stretching out on comfy blankets, doesn't mind taking a bath when necessary and loves his humans as much as they love him. A couple from the Bronx in New York City have spent over $10,000 on a squirrel that they rescued and then adopted.
It all started when two baby squirrels were found on a pile of leaves and twigs on a homeowner's bed in a tenth floor apartment. Christina Reyes, who has been rehabbing squirrels since 2008, rushed in to help the two babies. Sadly, one of them past away due to fever not long afterwards, but the other one was adopted by Christina, who named her Thumbelina. Her husband Michael helped Christina nurse the baby squirrel.
Melissa and Mick McAllister from Melissa, Texas have two pet bobcats, Gypsy and Monaco. A bobcat is an elusive wild cat found in the forests, swamps and deserts of North America. Dennis is the proud owner of three Poitou donkeys. A Poitou donkey is one of the largest donkey breeds out there. The breed was being used for the production of mules throughout Europe in the 19th and 20th century. Dennis bought his first Poitou donkey about 5 years ago with his girlfriend Sandy, and named it Pepito. Three years later they bought two more Poitou donkeys and named those Joey and Igor. They took them for a walk around the area every week and stopped at a bar to drink chocolate milk. The donkeys would wait outside for them to return. They were very friendly and well known by villagers. Being an adventurous couple and travel enthusiasts, they started thinking about taking their donkeys on a trip they would never forget. Putting the plan together, Dennis and Sandy figured they needed to prepare their donkeys for the trip of their life. They had to figure out where to go to, train with the donkeys and buy the required materials. Training with the donkeys began. The process took months and during the process they learned there was only one donkey fit to make this journey. Igor turned out to be very brave and not afraid to work hard. Next to that he was the only donkey that was not afraid to stand and drive around in a trailer. He's the perfect match. They decided to travel to the beautiful Vosges area in the East of France and bought a trailer since they were traveling by car. The trip was amazing and they all had a lot of fun.
One anonymous couple from Japan had the genius idea of documenting their cats' various expressions whenever they eat. For decades, her Roar Foundation and the animal sanctuary, Shambala Preserve, in California have advocated for big (and not so big) cats—from lions and leopards to bobcats and servals—and she's been honored with a host of humanitarian and conservation awards through the decades.

Kennedy Sartwell and Jake Terry of Warrensburg, Missouri, are an adorable loving couple who recently adopted a precious puppy named Raven. Excited about the new arrival, the couple decided to skip the regular posting on facebook or sending photos to a group chat and to do something bigger to announce Raven to the world.
