In case you need a bit more convincing, here are 20 reasons why having a cat is better than a boyfriend!

For many of us, these days in quarantine mean a major change in our entire daily routines. For our beloved cats, however, it's a day like any other day. Well, with a few exceptions—like trying to figure out why the heck we're at home for so long, what's with this handwashing and why on earth do we have so many toilet paper rolls at home?!

"Quarantine Cat Film Festival" Aimed At Rescuing Closed Cinema Theaters

In days when the entertainment industry is shut down with a gloomy forecast on how and when we will all be able to go back to cinema theatres, this pawsome initiative could be the light at the end of the tunnel.

The 'Quarantine Cat Film Festival' will come to virtual theaters in the U.S. and Canada on Friday, June 19, and hopefully will provide the local movie theatres the much-needed revenues during this closure of over two months.

So where can we buy a ticket?

Justice Was Done: City Official Resigns After Tossing His Cat During Zoom Meeting

Chris Platzer is a respectful planning commissioner from Vallejo, California, but a few days ago, on April 20, a zoom teleconference he held with other city officials went totally wrong.

In the outrageous video below, you can see Platzer saying "I'd like to introduce my cat," then picking up his pet before suddenly tossing the poor animal off-screen. The cat landed with a thud. A fellow commissioner covers his face with his hands, while another laughs.

His questionable behavior continued as he was seeing drinking beer and making derogatory remarks after the online meeting had ended.

As the video was made public, people were stunned by his cruel behavior.

Gladly, once again, public pressure led to justice and in an email sent to the Times-Herald on Saturday, Platzer said he has resigned from the planning commission, effective immediately: "I did not conduct myself in the Zoom meeting in a manner befitting of a planning commissioner and apologize for any harm I may have inflicted," Platzer wrote in the email. "I serve at the pleasure of the council and no longer have that trust and backing. I extend my gratitude to those who have supported me during my tenure. I have always felt that serving Vallejo in a voluntary position is honorable because Vallejo is worth serving. We are all living in uncertain times and I certainly, like many of you, am adjusting to a new normalcy."

We believe there is never a time or a place for animal cruelty, not even in uncertain times.

Does your cat sleep with you?

Don't you just love it when she takes her warm, furry, little paws, and pulls your hand closer to her?

It's the cutest freaking thing!

But what are the reasons our felines choose to sleep with us?
