When you think of spiderwebs you think of Halloween, spookiness, and of course, spiders. But there's also a delicate beauty to them... especially the following ones:

The non-traditional family trio is caring for three little baby eagles that hatched in a nest along the Mississippi River near Fulton, Illinois. Stewards of the Upper Mississippi River Refuge, set up the webcam in 2011, allowing the world watch the incredible interactions between the three, two males and a female, which is incredibly rare to see as males tend to be territorial.
The eagles have also been named, the males go by Valor I and Valor II, and the female is named Starr.
According to the Stewards of the Upper Mississippi Refuge, these birds have quite a back story, as well. The original trio was formed in 2013, when the female then chose a new mate, Valor II, and Valor I decided to stay throughout the breeding season. The original female was killed by another eagle in 2017, yet the two males stayed together and courted a new female after their first mate died. That female was Starr. And Here we are, two years later and three baby eaglets receiving extra love and care from a total of three parents.

When Douglas "Doug" Pojeky, president of Wild at Heart Rescue., Mississippi, treated the great horned owl named GiGi from a near-death experience, a strong bond was formed. And when Pojeky went away to visit his family in Michigan, he was clearly missed. Upon returning back to work, he immediately went to check up on GiGi. GiGi slowly walked up to him, gave him a hug, and wouldn't stop.

Or a "Catio" if you will. These awesome people took on a massive project to help improve their cats quality of life by giving them a safe outdoor environment. They posted their project, along with all the steps taken on Imgur. When asked why didn't they just let their cats out, they responded, "We made a personal decision when we got them that we didn't want to expose them to dangers like traffic, other cats and diseases. We also wanted to make sure that we weren't introducing predators into our area that would hunt the native birds. NZ has amazing bird life that our kitties would probably gleefully murder given half the chance."
