Elena Alekhina is a Russian designer and doll artist from St. Petersburg who creates realistic pet toys from papier-mache and printed fabrics. But Elena doesn't stop at the creation process. She also takes her small cats and dogs for a tour in the city where she photographs them against the backdrop of the city's iconic landmarks- The Kazan Cathedral, Peter and Paul Fortress, Griboyedov canal and the Fontanka river.
