We can't decide if we'd rather see these incredible re-imagined mushroom dragons in the next Pokemon, Monster Hunter, or Dark Souls! 

The extremely talented artist behind the brilliant re-imagination of dragons as mushrooms is Xavier Collette! Xavier Collette was originally born in Belgium and has been living in Brittany, France, for the past decade.

Xavier currently works as an illustrator in many creative and artistic fields! Such as comics, children's books, board games, and concept art. We got a chance to speak with Xavier and discover the inspiration behind his captivating art and the answer was simplistic. Xavier simply wrote, "I like to create worlds." Worlds that involve fantasy and mythological creatures such as fairies, dragons, and more! There is so much imagination to explore when fantasy is your world!

Here's something we've never seen before - dogs on mushrooms. And, no, not those types of mushrooms. We actually mean dogs literally on mushrooms, standing on them as they protrude out the tree trunks. It's whimsical and magical and we're getting dog fairy vibes from it and loving it. 

Turns out, when Twitter user @lofidrew shared the images of pups on mushrooms, they weren't the only images of dogs gracefully standing upon some mushrooms! Other users shared similar images and then came the silly shenanigans. We didn't know we needed these images until right now and we're hoping you'll feel the same way afterward.

Marco-photographer extraordinaire, Alison Pollack, focuses her photography on fungi and Myxomycetes.

Pollack's Instagram account is jam-packed with stunning photos of these minuscule hypnotic mushrooms. In an interview with PetaPixel, Pollack reveals how she got started, "I started to get serious about mushroom and Myxomycete photography a couple of years ago, when I found and photographed my first Myxomycete. I had no idea what it was, so I looked it up online. I was immediately fascinated with the Myxomycete life cycle, and I have been avidly hunting and photographing them ever since.

As I looked for the tiny Myxos, I also started noticing really tiny fungi, and started photographing them as well. These tiny organisms are all over the forest when it rains, but they are so small that people just don't see them. My goal is to reveal their beauty and magic!"
