These five kittens were born in a humane trap to a feral mother cat who was trapped for TNR (trap-neuter-return, the humane way of preventing overpopulation in feral colonies). Since they were born in mid-march, we named them after birds: Magpie, Hummingbird, Canary, Finch, and Chickadee. These sweet babies have been handled since they were born and will be available for adoption through Alley Cats and Angels after they are fully vetted (mid-June).

Mama Cat Adopts Four Orphaned Baby Squirrels And It's The Sweetest Thing

Pusha is a cat who lives in a park in Bakhchisaray, Crimea. She came across four young squirrels who'd lost their parents, and rather than going back to her usual cat business or pushing them away like they were pesky mice, she decided to look after them. See? Cats are wonderful.

Meowmoirs: October 9, 2020 Getting Adopted

Every adopted pet has a start to their journey. The adjustment to a new home, a new family, a new life - it all takes a lot of effort. We, as owners who adopt with the best of intentions, never really know what that adjustment feels like to our pets.

Well, allow this adopted cat to explain to you exactly what it feels like.

Welcome to Meowmoirs - the diary of a cat.

His name is Earnie, he's an older cat, and he's been up for adoption for a little while now. But the day has finally come, and he's found a new forever home. Except, does it feel like a forever home to him?

first entry of meowmoirs diary of a cat written from a cat's perspective getting adopted thumbnail includes a picture of a cat glaring and text over a notebook page 'Cat - Meowmoirs: Getting Adopted October 9, 2020 "I used my glare of doom on them to warn them off but two humans kept looking into my cage awing and cooing" ACANH CHEEZ URGE'
