OK, this is gold. Really. If you don't know the backstory, Dewy, Cheatem and Howe are fictional lawyers used in gags and parodies to show how lawyers cheat people over (their names are in this order because if you say it fast, it sounds like "Do we cheat 'em? And how!"). So this makes total sense that your cat lawyers would be named after characters that screw people over, because that is basically the life goal of cats: to screw over humans. Look at their little faces! They are so mischievous. I would just plead guilty and get it over with, then go and look at some cat memes. 

Cats are different to kittens. Cats are cold-hearted, despise their humans, and are vindictive for no reason at all. Kittens, on the other hand, are normal baby creatures: they are cute, playful, friendly, and will generally help out other creatures that need help. Poor baby human, he's being taken to the vet and he doesn't even know it. Good thing this courageous kitty has warned him of the impending dangers that await him. Thanks kitty. That's right, there can only be one king and it definitely ain't human. The Egyptians were onto something, but they didn't take it the whole way. Don't make the same mistake as some of your ancestors and treat cats as inferior beings. Now go and study these sacred cat memes and don't come back till you can recite them by heart. 

It's a hard life being a kitty. There are so many things you have to do in the day, from glaring at birds through the window, to sleeping, to putting your hair on all the furniture, to sleeping, to plotting, to getting in the way of whatever your human wants to do. Sometimes a kitty just doesn't have enough energy to do everything. It makes sense that when the kitty is tired, the cat-servant should do these things instead. So here is your task hooman: look up funny cat memes and pictures of cute cats. Then rub my stomach. 

Are any of us where we expected to end up? I certainly am not. And Marmalade isn't either. He didn't think ducks were cute, or stuffed animals were useful. But look at him now. Shamefully addicted to quack. He should be looking at these cat memes instead.

We all know that cats have massive egos, and need to be reassured multiple times throughout the day of how great they are. So yes, the shoes look good on you.
