On general principle, cats have no respect for you or your things and they'll knock your full mug of coffee off the counter just to see what will happen. It makes sense that there'd be a lot of evidence of cats and their crimes. Hey, they want food even when they have it. This point is driven home by the fact that cats probably talk like disparaged Victorian children.

While tattoos aren't necessarily for everyone, we can't help but love the creativity, the art, and adoration some people have for their beloved cats. To commemorate their cats forever onto their skin, it says a lot about the love cats bring into our lives.

And cats may not be in our lives for as long as we wish but they leave such an impact on us. There's nothing more difficult than losing a loved one and that pain doesn't go away. You simply learn to live with it over time. 

This week, unfortunately, quite a few beauties crossed over the rainbow bridge and we'd like to honor them and keep them alive by featuring their beautiful faces here. To those who have recently lost a pet, we send our hearts to you.

Poor little kitten went through a traumatic ordeal before it eventually led to his furever home. At just 4-weeks, Nashville Cat Rescue saved this adorable kitten who had been thrown from a moving car. Unthinkable, right? The kitten, named Winston, was brought in with some injuries but he is one mighty fighter.

Jamie and Bryan Adams, a couple that volunteers at the Nashville Cat Rescue, immediately jumped on the offer to help. In the past, Jamie and Bryan had adopted a tri-pawed orange tabby named Timmy who was rescued from a similar fate. And sadly, Timmy passed away from cancer earlier this year. To cope with the loss of Timmy, Jamie and Bryan began to look for a new kitty to join their family.

You're about to fall in love with a new star -- Prince Michael! The newlyweds first adopted Prince Michael, a British short-hair, 5 years ago and knew from the start they were going to involve the furriest little member of the family in the celebration in a huge way -- as one of the groomsmen. 

Prince Michael's adopted dad, Aaron Benitez, revealed on Good Morning America, "He's been a huge part of our lives ever since we started dating. Even as a kitten, Michael would ride the subway with me, go to Central Park, Joshua Tree, and the beach. Our first Valentine's Day, we brought him along for the day and have made it a tradition ever since to include him."

They dressed Prince Michael in a tuxedo for the occasion and the wedding photographers, Jonnie and Garrett Burks, were taken back, stating they've both never seen anything quite like a cat as a groomsman.

Oh and that they are from Switzerland!

Twitter user, Christopher Doyle, shared with the Twitterverse on August 25th, 2020, that his daughter made a PowerPoint presentation in hopes of convincing her parents to adopt a cat. 

Her PowerPoint presentation hits a lot of excellent points, such as the pros of getting a cat, how she was promised a hamster five years ago and never received one, and overall, just how happy it would make her. Three excellent points, indeed. And after the overwhelming response on Twitter, Christopher Doyle shared an image of a cat adoption slip! That's right -- his daughter is finally getting a cat!
