Etobicoke Human Society, a Toronto- based animal shelter, was given 10 Duktig beds meant for dolls, but widely known to be a feline favorite. On a thank you post shared on facebook, the owners wrote: "A HUGE thanks to IKEA Canada for donating these adorable doll beds. Now the cats are elevated off the cold, hard floor. Our floors are easy to clean but not terribly comfortable to lay on. Now cats like Catsby and Frankie have beds of their own to curl up in".

So thank you, IKEA, from us as well!

Pinky Janota (53) runs the Settlers Pond Shelter in Illinois but also raises 6 monkeys at her home -three rescued Rhesus Macaques, one Bonnet and two Marmosets monkeys, all with names of famous cosmetic brands including Maybelline and L'Oreal. All 6 monkeys have been mistreated in the past and Pinky spends her day's bottle feeding her primate babies, clothing, bathing, changing their diapers as well as teaching them sign language. The primates have all proved the truth behind the phrase 'Monkey see, monkey do' by mimicking their owner's behavior. We can only Imagine what is it like being a monkey mum...

Home builder Peter Cohen remodeled his California home and turned it into 150 feet of catwalks, tunnels, and stairways, all for his 18 indoor only rescue cats. The house is called House of Nekko (which means "cat" in Japanese) and peter began his vision when he bought The Cat's House by Bob Walker, which is full of photos of the famous cat-friendly house in San Diego. This is one fun house you've got to see to believe..

Rowdy, an aging dog from Oregon, is helping 8 years old Carter, a boy with a rare skin disorder, accept his condition. Carter and Rowdy both suffer from vitiligo disease causing white patches around their eyes.

The pair first connected after Carter's mum saw a picture of Rowdy online and decided to reach out his owner, Niki Mbenhower. They started building a long distance relationship but met for the first time only a few weeks ago, after receiving public donations to fund the trip.

Check out their beautiful story
