The Differences Between Human Vision And Cat Vision in 6 Comparison Photos

How do cats really see the world? To answer this question, Nickolay Lamm has created pictures comparing our vision with the vision of cats, with the help of specialists, veterinarians and other animal ophthalmologists, to compile what we know about the vision of cats: cats have a visual field of 200 degrees compared to humans 180 degrees. Their visual acuity is limited to only 6 meters, while it is 30 to 60 meters for humans. Cats see fewer colors and details than humans, but distinguish much better movement and also see six to eight times better at night than humans. Via: Ufunk

Most cats are picky eaters, and as such, less likely to be interested in some human foods than dogs, but because a cat's digestive system is different from a human's, some human foods can be highly toxic and even deadly to cats. The following seven foods should never be given to cats. If your cat accidentally ingests any of these foods, emergency veterinary treatment may be necessary and an immediate visit to the veterinarian is essential.
