I don't believe we covered part one of Lil' Drac's story here on Daily Squee, but here's the synopsis: Amazing humans rescued this darling baby bat and nursed him back to health. As for part two... well, just watch the video and spend the rest of your day d'awwwwwwww-ing like I did.

You have to understand though; it was nothing special. It was just that I was trying to take a nap on his foot (which looks an awful lot like a pillow if you kind of squint at it a bit), and he kept doing this annoying "fee fi fo fum" thing, and it kept waking me up and so I felt like the only way to solve the problem at hand was to take matters into my own paws. He was asking for it, really.

At the time of this photo, Katie was 17 yrs and Finn was 11. She raised him from 8 weeks on. She is is mommy, sister, security blanket, everything. Unfortunately, we lost Katie a month a go, and Finn has been upset (as have I). He can't handle rainstorms without her. But he is CHANNELING her; at Thanksgiving, after 11 years of NEVER eating people food, he demanded turkey from the table, something Katie used to do (she used cuteness, he used surprise and a VERY loud voice).
