Team U.S.A. Tennis is up to it's knees in gold. After Bob and Mike Bryan won men's doubles on saturday, this win makes three gold medals in two days for the Americans.
The sisters have played in three Olympics together, winning gold medals in doubles in the 2000, 2008, and now 2012 Olympics.
This accomplishment is even more impressive considering the emotional and physical difficulties Venus has faced in the past year, who was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that causes fatigue. Venus says,
"Boy, was that a battle. That was one of the hardest things I've ever done. I really feel proud of what happened here at the Olympics."
