Fred Anhalt here is near and dear to my heart because all his buildings are in my neighborhood in Seattle. In fact, my husband and I looked at several condos in Anhalt buildings while shopping for our place. Oh the drooling, oh the lusting. Oh how I wish I could afford one of his charming, fairy tale units.

This week's Lovely Lister is a special one. Michael Arad won the World Trade Center Site Memorial Competition in 2004. His creation will be seen by victims' families this weekend at a special opening ceremony memorializing the 10th anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks.
