Meet Sponge Bob, a 30-pound tabby cat in need of a new home. When he first arrived at his current residence, a shelter in New York, he weighed 33 pounds. The shelter has helped Sponge Bob lose three pounds over the last two months.

Sponge Bob is up for adoption through the Animal Haven Shelter in New York, NY. The shelter is hoping to find Sponge Bob a loving forever home that can help him shed some of that unhealthy poundage.
