deer

I ain't seeing no buffalo, but there sure as heck are a bunch of deer around here. One of the cutest, and surprisingly menacing creatures, at least to suburbia, is the deer. Don't let those doe eyes and bushy tails fool you, turn your head at the wrong time and your Rhododendrons are gone! So check out all this stash of deer products you won't be disappointed in, and forget about your lost gardening award.

The BBC writes,

"A young red deer has joined a flock of sheep on the Suffolk coast and seems to have been adopted. The deer appears to have lost his herd and joined 100 sheep, which graze on National Trust land at Dunwich Heath and Orford Ness in Suffolk. Andrew Capell, the flock's shepherd, said: 'They seem to have accepted him as one of their own.'"

Now that is some real life interspecies love!

Our Submitter says: "This is Obie, a pup that was rescued when he was about three-days-old, seen here cavorting in the woods with a fawn that just happened to be totally cool with us."

Well of course the fawn is totally cool with Obie, it seems like he is an utter gentlemen.

This widdle creature is absolutely squeeful! But what IS he? The shape of his legs and body are reminiscent of a deer, but his round head looks similar to that of a Capybara. Please help me identify this cute hopper!
