Behaviors that Feel Rude but Really Aren't

If you're like most people, you have an invisible obligation to be basically decent to the people around you. Politeness isn't required in daily life, but it's typically necessary for someone who wants to get through life as seamlessly as possible. That said, there are loads of social conventions we don't necessarily think about where our desire to get what we want clashes with our desire to not seem rude. Sure, there are generally agreed upon d*ck moves and signs someone wasn't raised right, but these are things that many of us stress over when we don't really have to.

Talk about awkward, this baby flamingo isn't pink, doesn't even have feathers yet, and just looks very confused. Growing up is tough.

You mean this isn't how you always sit? Because it's how I always sit! I mean, sure, the location of my tail looks weird, but I can assure you that it's actually totally not awkward at all and is in fact quite comfortable! Are you judging me for my sitting posture right now? Because I feel like you're judging me for my sitting posture right now, and that's not very polite at all!
