Update: Banks, the back-scratching cat, has been adopted! I'm sure his forever home will love him and his talents.
This crazy 3-year-old monkey enjoys pulling a wool hat over her head to blind herself and running around until she hits something.
Pretty standard monkey business.
She’s one of four gibbons that live at the Monkey Island Rescue in Greenwood, Missouri, which houses over 250 rescued animals.
Her owner, Dana Savorelli, says she’s been playing this game for several years and came up with it on her own.
“You have to wonder about the level of intelligence that is being processed,” he says.
Tim Putnam watched as the dog fell into the ice filled waters of Betsie Bay in Michigan. 20 minutes later he had waded his way through the ice to the dog's rescue.
Tim and the folks at the animal shelter who treated the dog for hypothermia are calling her Betsie. If no one claims her, Tim is going to adopt.
"Maybe it was just meant to be," he said.
Meet lifeguard dog.
Man’s best friend? No, man’s greatest friend.
After his owner sticks his head under water for a few moments, this observant guy thinks something isn’t quite right.
So he acts fast and leaps into the water to save him.
Watch this hero come to rescue and even drag the man out of the water by gripping his hand.
Blade is a spur-thighed tortoise who can’t walk on his own due to a bone metabolism disorder. His heavy shell puts too much strain on his weak legs.
So a German vet name Dr. Carsten Plischke decided to build him a tiny wheelchair made out of his son’s Legos.
He glued the blocks to the bottom of his shell, and with the extra support, he can now glide around much easier while building up strength in his legs.
The video is in German, but the overwhelming cuteness transcends all languages.
For the next iteration how about we upgrade him to a sweet Lego DeLorian?
