Two snowboarders expected to spend the day enjoying the slopes but they found a horse stranded in the snow instead. They dug the horse out, gave her some food and walked her down the mountain where she was reunited with her owner after going missing for four days.
Daisy must have been minding her own business on the pasture when she fell into a hole in the ground just large enough to fit the lower half of her body. Her owners called a towing company and a veterinarian in to save her. It was a close call but she's doing fine. As scary as the incident must have been for her, she looked remarkably calm when they found her.
