Bluefishlucksays: "These are a few of orphaned Eastern Cottontails that were brought into the wildlife center where I work. This picture was taken when they just came in, but two weeks later the bunnies grew larger and healthier and today we just released them into the wild!"

Oh I hope they enjoy their new-found freedom!

Our submitter says: "This is Santana my beautiful rescue dog. She came from an abusive home but now she has made herself quite comfy in our big backyard and she's even taken over my father's usual seat on the couch."

Everyone deserves a second chance. It's wonderful of your father to give up his seat for someone in need!

April says: "This is Lionel. He and his brother Ritchie were abandoned and my fiancé found them. They were two weeks old, covered in ticks, skinny and filthy. Now they are fat happy puppies that will hopefully be adopted by a wonderful family when they are old enough."

It's wonderful to know that Lionel and Ritchie are being taken care of and loved!

Braveharlot says: "This baby Yak was orphaned by his mother, so I rescued him and brought him inside to try and keep him alive. He was about ten-days-old in this shot. He's now a rambunctious two-month-old, but it was pretty hit or miss for the first few days. He ended up with the name "Squeaky" because he made sad, little, squeaking noises whenever he got hungry."

Awwww poor widdle orphaned Yak! Don't worry Squeaky, now you have a loving home. I hope you never have to be alone again <3
