Rachel says: "My husband and I are crazy rat people. These are two of our babies. Daisy (top) and Dory (bottom)!"

How many squee rats do you crazy, cool rat people have?

Two of my boys Grant and Skitty made a huge mess in their cage and then proceded to use the torn up liners as a blankie after their mischief making was done.

I have heard of people diving into books and being captivated by the adventure they found there. This is the first time I have heard of rats being taken captive by a book while out adventuring!

Honorarymarauder says: "This is my rat, Cupcake, snacking on some sourdough bread left over from Christmas breakfast casserole! She is a bit of a pudge, but 'tis the season for yummy snacking!"

How pudgy is Cupcake now that we're a little over a month into the new year? Still squee I bet.

Frizzled says: "A while back, a friend of mine had a litter of 13 rats. This is them at about two weeks old. I kept the five males, and use them to show little kids (and their parents!) that rats can be fun, friendly pets."

Thank you for educating the kids about how great rats can be!

Jenni says: "These adorable little things were our rat protection while living as Peace Corps volunteers in Azerbaijan. Clearly they weren't always on the job."

A form of rat protection that doubles as a cuddle-puddle? What could possibly be better!?
