Squee lovers, the winners of this week's Squee Spree contest are itty bitty rock hyrax babies! I've always felt like rock hyraxes are animals with permafrowns on their faces... but even so, they're all still undeniably squee as a button!
This lovely video documents the first exam ever for Seattle Aquarium's latest otter pup. Its mother Aniak was trained to bring the pup to the biologists, thanks to patience on the biologists' part and a decent amount of seafood-as-positive reinforcement.
Suffice to say, everything about this video is unbearably squee.

Is Showgun's name a pun on the word Shogun? Regardless of my linguistic curiosities, I think she definitely deserves a snuggle for being the mother to such a lovely little ball of fluff and squee!
