It's been a long and windy and perilous flight, but I've finally found the target, so I'm preparing to touch down. Bullwinkle, do you copy? I need you to dial in my coordinates and make your way to Boris and Natasha's latest lair so I can use your antlers as a tarmac.

This widdle Flying Squirrel doesn't give a darn if that nut is half his size, it's HIS and he isn't keen on sharing. "Finder's keeper's" as they say.

Catstina says: "This is my sweet Southern Flying Squirrel, Emo, he will be 5 this year! He is a sweet boy, but is really only bonded to me. Contrary to popular belief, a Southern Flying Squirrel is not the same as a Sugar Glider. A Flyer is a rodent and a Glider is a marsupial!"

Well Emo, don't you look fancy with your little umbrella! I promise to try and not get you confused with one of them Sugar Gliders :)

Today I learned that "although flying squirrels do not hibernate, if temperatures become too severe the squirrels will enter a state of torpor until temperatures return to normal." FYI "torpor" means "a state of suspended physical powers and activities." There's something new to learn about squee creatures everyday!
