I know you're trying to "blend-in" widdle froggie, but it doesn't seem like you're fooling anyone into thinking you're a thorn. You're too round and squishy... Just sayin'.
This widdle guy is known as a Panther Chameleon, maybe because of his dark stripes? But I've also heard chameleons change their color to blend into their environment. So maybe this lizard has been hanging around too many wild cats?
The Common Potoo is a bird of Central and South America that has an amazing ability to blend itself into it's surroundings with an amazing show of confidence.
While many birds of the same region are brightly colored and easy to spot, the Common Potoo has a different goal in mind and accomplishes it well! This nocturnal bird has the ability to hold remarkably still, giving it the appearance of a broken tree branch. Check out this video to see how a mother Common Patoo protects its young!
Aurora6853 says: "Shadow loves to lay on anything black. I think she believes she's camouflaged. I was skeptical about my mom getting a new white quilt, but Shadow stays on her black towel."
Shadow is a camouflage master! If it wasn't for her big green eyes I wouldn't have noticed her!
