Well, what do you think? Do they capture my essence well enough? I'm still learning how to use this new DSLR I just bought... the timer's a little weird, and the focus is hard to control given that I don't have opposable thumbs and whatnot... but on the whole I think these shots all came out quite nicely! Don't you?
Our Submitter says: "This is Marge the Rat, our new adoptee. She loves the camera, we only had her a few hours when this was taken, and she was so chilled out."
Marge knew she was going to a loving home, so she was able to relax.

I mean, I didn't realize taking a picture of myself in the mirror would be so difficult! Sure, lacking thumbs makes it a bit tough... but I figured if I used the timer on this camera then it wouldn't be that big of a deal! But the flash keeps going off before the shutter clicks and it scares the dickens out of me and then I can't concentrate on smiling and all my photos end up looking like this and it's just really really really frustrating!
