I'm starting to think owls are very paranoid birds. It would explain why their necks have a 270-degree turn radius in either direction (which they use to compulsively look over their shoulders), and why they're often calling out "Who? Who?" It's all starting to make sense...

The Common Potoo is a bird of Central and South America that has an amazing ability to blend itself into it's surroundings with an amazing show of confidence.

While many birds of the same region are brightly colored and easy to spot, the Common Potoo has a different goal in mind and accomplishes it well! This nocturnal bird has the ability to hold remarkably still, giving it the appearance of a broken tree branch. Check out this video to see how a mother Common Patoo protects its young!
